Takara Tomy website have been updated with a page of the new Transformers Masterpiece Beast Wars MP-59 Rhinox featuring some new official HQ promotional images.

We have a closer look at the packaging, robot mode compared with his original CGI model, his twin chain guns, compatibility with MP Cheetor gun (as seen in the show), other accessories, and his “angry face”. To top it all we also have extra images of beast mode from different angles and showing off his poseable head and opening mouth. Rhinox is planned for release by June 2024 for 35200 Yen ($235.71 approximately).

Awesome, thanks for the update. My old order still hadn't updated so i cancelled and reordered.

Did the same, for the same reason. Very strange that it had not updated, would rather not take my chances.

Glad I didnt cancel my PO, still going to hold on to a screenshot, haven't had a problem in years where time had passed enough that the discount wasnt reflected in my order summary.

I put in a $1 preorder at ShowZ, I figure for that amount I can just let it auto-cancel if I’m not happy with their price.

Does anyone know how ShowZ’s pricing tends to compare to other retailers for official Takara masterpiece figures?

Yeah that’s how it works. It should be automatically applied when your order is shipped.

I’ve had one instance where it didn’t happen. Contacted customer service and got the difference refunded to my card.

Yes. It's safe to assume at this point Amazon JP is not a viable option for US buyers for this release.
