Toy Fair 2023 – Funko Pop, Super 7, Kotobukiya, Robosen, Tomy & Threezero Pics

Toy Fair 2023 continues this weekend, and our TFW2005 team has sent us even more pics from Hasbro’s private showroom available off site from the main event at that Javits Center in New York City.

We have some images of several officially licensed Transformers products like Funko Pop, Super 7 Super Cyborg line, we also have Kotobukiya Bishoujo Transformers statues on display, Threezero and their DLX action figures from the Bumblebee Movie, Rise Of The Beasts and Revenge Of The Fallen Megatron and the MDLX G1 line, Robosen Optimus Prime and Grimlock ant Tomy’s Build-A-Buddy Optimus Prime.

I'm a huge fan of the design but they butchered her face here. Her look in the film is so much better. I don't know what they were trying to do here but her eyes are too far apart and her whole face seems vertically stretched. Trumpeter did a helluva lot better job with the headsculpt on their tiny model kit, same with the SS figure. I can't understand how 3-Zero managed to screw this up.

They've responded to the negative backlash and are doing a movie accurate head as well.

I'm not mad keen on either, probably swing more towards to the original less accurate sculpt but hey.. options.

No offense to the designs or the people that like the headsculpt (good on you) but man this head looks both bad and creepy af

I kinda hate myself for wanting Pop Vinyl Megatron. But I'm a sucker for G1 toy decos so here I am.

Honestly of the three there he’s easily the best looking. Prime looks off with all the blue plastic around his eyes that’s the same color as his helmet, and Bumblebee’s face is all sorts is squashed down from above.

I've seen that Super 7 clear Bumblebee at Macys and the $85 price tag is bad comedy.
