Thanks to 2005 Boards member wazzzzzpinator for giving us the heads up of the Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Troop Builder Multipack found at US retail.
This Target-exclusive 4-pack consists of Decepticon Seeker, Quitesson Trooper, G2 Cybertronian Trooper and Animated Autotrooper. It was found at a Target store in New Jersey. Be aware that it seems this set is street dated or register locked for October 4th.
Happy hunting!

I know, right! Sometimes they act like they're allergic to money.

See, you keep asking for Seeker rereleases and all Hasbro hears is "another Ramjet repaint".
Vanya
Nope. Never said that.
Also, saying "almost half a decade" instead of 3 years ago is a good way to make it sound much more significant than it actually is.
John Titor
So, if I get this straight, you are saying that the only price you'd be willing to pay ($70) on toys that have not been available at retail for almost half a decade, is retail price + 2 cents?
RagaBM
I hope they keep continuing with Dramatic Capture. Personally would love a Datsun bros 3 pack, or Sideswipe x Sunstreaker pack. And perhaps a Trailbreaker. Funny how it would be the easier ways to get these Season 1 guys.
Purple Heart
But if it’s another reasonably priced exclusive two pack the scaplers will just bully them even more!
Foster
Who knows, maybe Skywarp and Thundercracker will be part of an upcoming Dramatic Capture Series set.
Vanya
That's the lowest price I've heard of.
I would have considered that.
I did find a Chinese listing for a little more than that with free shipping I added to my watch list.
Vanya
No, 70$ is 2 cents more than current retail price for two Voyagers which is 34.99$.
Taxes are automatically added by eBay during check out just like cashiers and self check out machines do in retail stores.
The "+ shipping" is irrelevant to retail price.
ScorponokIsHere
Yeah, and "after ebay fees" are mentioned above, which is 13%, or $13 on a sale of $99. That's leaving $86 before we get into sales tax and whatnot.
John Titor
$70 + shipping is less than current retail. If these were rereleased individually, they would be $35 each plus taxes, so more than $70.
99$ plus shipping doesn't seem bad for highly sought items needed to complete a collection.
Thundershot
I literally just sold mine on eBay last night for $99. I paid retail plus tax for it and after eBay fees I barely made anything. I’m just cleaning out my basement and selling most of it at average to low eBay sold values.
shin03
I feel you. I missed out on the tetrajet Skywarp when it was out on Amazon, and I paid a grip for it just months after it went off the market. Can’t imagine what THAT must cost now.
ScorponokIsHere
Correct.

I was half joking and the prices were just as high back then.
I guess I should be glad they haven't gotten much worse.
I've never seen this set on the after market for only 100$.
It's always at least that plus shipping, or higher with "free" shipping.
If it was actually 70$ + shipping I'd have no problem buying it used off an original owner.
But I've never caught it at that price.
And, of course, Hasbro should have released these guys individually ages ago.
I'm surprised they haven't shown up in Studio Series 86 yet either.

I would like to impart a lesson on terminology.
1. A Scalper is someone who buys product with intent to resell them for a much higher price then they bought it for as to make profit. Most scalpers buy products and immedietly try and flip them to make their money back as soon as possible. Toys are not good investments, and “scalpers” do not hold onto toys for years to flip. They take advantage of people who are chomping at the bit to get something as soon as it releases, thats their customer base.
It’s also worth noting that sites like ebay have fees and shipping costs, which mean that their profits are often slim to none. So if you see a listing for a $25 figure for $30+$15 in shipping, the seller is probably isn’t making any profit assuming they have seller fees like on ebay.
2. Aftermarket value. The aftermarket is the secondary market where things are re-sold by their originer owners. Value for things on the aftermarket often goes up after many years have passed.
The Earthrise Thundercracker and Skywarp bundle was a store exclusive(which also means it was produced in lower numbers then your average release), features two prominent characters in the franchise in their most iconic design, and was released almost four years ago.
Things go up in price. $100 for two $35 voyagers with all those factors in play is not scalping, thats just the aftermarket. If they are really worth it to you, you’ll save up and buy them instead of claiming people who are selling parts of their collection for it’s full value are bullying you.
Sweep
The Earthrise Allicon? Not the Bailff it came with?
John Titor
What do you mean bullied? Also, it's the aftermarket on toys from 3-4 toylines ago, let's not conflate that with scalping.
Robogeek28
Mine was easy peasy.
Vanya
Missed out on them initiall and now I'm being bullied by scalpers.
