Coming to us Via Weibo user 漫港湾 (credit to Arituch Manthanasarnchai), we have images from the Thailand Comic Con 2023 event where Yolopark have revealed the prototypes of their upcoming AMK Pro Series Rise Of The Beasts Mirage & Bumblebee Movie Soundwave.
These figures are part of Yolopark’s easy-to-build model kits line (all parts pre-painted and pre-assembled, just connect limbs to the torso) which include die-cast parts. While non transforming, Rise Of The Beasts Mirage looks like our best movie-accurate rendition of the Autob0t warrior so far. Mirage will stand 20 cm tall. Yolopark have confirmed that Mirage size will be 17 cm tall.
To our surprise, Yolopark also revealed AMK Pro Series Soundwave from the Bumblebee Movie. He will stand 20 cm tall. Since it’s an early prototype, we still have no concrete information about Soundwave’s opening chest or if he would include his partner Ravage. Stay tuned with this space for more updates.
See all the mirrored images after the break, including the previously reported prototypes of the AMK Series (no die-cast parts) ROTB Scourge, Rhinox and Cheetor. Hit the discussion button and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Hi there! New to yolopark, quick question: does Scourge work on a throne? Been looking for a figure to replace Starscream on that Decepticon throne, and Scourge looks VERY cool.

Starscream started shipping!

I hope they don't use all the parts a rubber material like apeling it was a pain to put and things would fall out easily for that price I wouldn't have expected rubber

Look I know as well as you do that the answer to most things that any company does is money. But that makes for a boring discussion. I will say though that companies don't always make the best choices when it comes to how they think they will make the most money. So we will see how this all works out.

It’s rather obvious why they went AMK pro.
They saw the huge success of these figures. You get people hooked with the cheaper AMK ones, then make the rest of the cast AMK pro so you have to buy into a much more expensive line. Since people love finishing casts, they know they have those buyers locked in due to their completionism.
Sucks to see I was right about it happening though. I called it ages ago, but had hoped it wasn’t more than a one off.
Liege Prime
Honestly I don't know. My guess would probably be just prioritizing TF One figures so they could release closer to the movie and bumping everything else back. But they might have also wanted to start the AMK Pro line with G1 Megatron and Optimus. Whatever the case I still want an actual accurate Mirage figure.

So this is apparently why Mirage is taking sooooooooooo long? I'm still half wondering if I'll have threezero's in hand first (which is shocking and would decrease the odds of me grabbing their mirage).

Given I don’t collect the whole line, zI do benefit form her being a Pro.
However I can completely understand why someone who wanted to get the whole ROTB cast would be annoyed as hell.
Liege Prime
Yeah PRO has better paint, metal parts, light up eyes, and a bit more accessories. I would definitely say the cost difference makes sense for what you get, but choosing to do Pro releases randomly doesn't. They should have just stuck with standard AMK for ROTB. Maybe we would have even gotten the figures in a more timely fashion.

Also, the AMK Pro figures include diecast parts IIRC from reviews of the AMK Pro G1 releases.
Wh33ls
Ah, that helps alot, thank you.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I remember thinking the same back when Mirage was revealed. Again, thought I was missing something. What a dumb move.

Both AMK and AMK Pro are the same scale, it's just AMK Pro has better paint and LEDs hence the "Pro" and higher pricepoint. Arcee is 13cm due to her being smaller in the film.
Wh33ls
OK, then I'm really confused. I'm gonna back down from this, because I have no idea of what's what, and who's who. I'll just enjoy people's pretty pictures until I can get one for myself.
SPLIT LIP
No, she is AMK Pro, but the AMK kits are not all the same size. Bumblebee, for example, is much shorter than Scourge.
Wh33ls
OK, then Arcee is not AMK Pro, because the placard has her at 13 cm.
SPLIT LIP
AMK Pro isn't smaller, and yes they have had light up eyes. (Megatron for sure did)
Wh33ls
Do the other AMK Pro eyes light up? I was under the assumption that the smaller figures don't have any electronics.
SPLIT LIP
Nope, you’re not missing anything. Splitting the ROTB cast between the two lines was a criticism all the way back when Mirage was revealed, so it’s disappointing to see Yolopark double down on it.
