I think you might be right. Could indeed just be perspective but that screenshot definitely matches the figure’s head great.

I think when his shoulders are closer together (as a gorillas usually are) the head looks proportional to this figure. Or maybe it's just perspective?

Yeah the worst you can really say about this Primal figure is that the head might be slightly too large.

The body looks fine tho. Primal had the proportions of a gorilla and this figure absolutely matches that.

The tree trunk, especially the roots part, is giving me a Japanese Kaiju/octopus tentacles vibe… the way it's textured look more skin than bark to me.

I seriously hope Yolopark would continue the ROTB AMK line with beast modes after they're done with all the bots. They're just so well made, great value and it's so much fun weathering them. It's like getting a ThreeZero DLX for 1/3 the price!
If Yolopark will redo this Primal in the model kit line, I'll get it. Bought their BBM Optimus Prime and love it… but I feel that line is kinda dead, there's nothing new announced after the BBM Shockwave reshell.
