Just in from Screen Rant is our reveal for the third chapter of Legacy, officially titled United, with Animated Voyager Optimus Prime and Deluxe Bumblebee being the first figures shown off!
“During Hasbro Pulse Con 2023 a pair of new action figures will be revealed as of the Transformers Legacy United line and Screen Rant has the first look and product details. These latest designs for Bumblebee and Optimus Prime toys are inspired by their appearances in Transformers: Animated and take over 20 steps to transform from robot to their respective vehicle modes.
These new Transformers figures will debut during Hasbro Pulse Con 2023 on Friday, September 22, 2023 starting at 11:00AM ET at YouTube.com/HasbroPulse. Here is the official artwork and logo for poster tease for Transformers Legacy United:
“United” is the third chapter of Transformers Legacy, a subline of toys collecting characters from every version of Transformers, that began in 2021 as a followup to the War for Cybertron trilogy. Where most Transformers toy lines just get replaced upon completion, the second year of Legacy’s life saw it continue as Legacy: Evolution. United represents the third year of the ongoing series celebrating the Transformers multiverse.
See below for the newest United figures based on the Transformers: Animated series that launched shortly after the start of the live-action Transformers movie franchise and ran three seasons from December 2007 to 2009. Both figures officially release in January.

I just had a crazy thought for a custom using AU Optimus as a base.

If a Legacy Animated Bulkhead has a working chair from his back kibble, I will be happy. It would redeem any other flaws it could have.

This is a good idea bruh.. Shorter legs and a redo on the jaw and front of van mode.

Looking like that guy can't be a flaw, he's perfect.

While discussing the flaws…Optimus Prime’s Head looks too Ultra Magnus…

I know it's been beaten to death at this point but I still can't get over the stripe on the legs of Bumblebee ending up on the wrong side in robot mode, I remember them saying the feller that made it took great strides for the car mode (which does look nice (bit too much clear plastic for my liking though)) which makes me think the bot mode was made second fiddle and when they realised the transformation required to make the vehcle resulted in the stripe being swapped, it was a "eh who cares, they'll still buy it" kind of situation. Drives me 'tism something crazy, it's alrady inaccurate enough so they should have just gave him symmetrical striping so it doesn't matter where it ends up. I'd probably add it myself if I ever pick him up.
I really hope at some point we get to see that early head design that Mark mentioned.

Just the angle. He’s fine View attachment 30103730

Really wanting some in-hand images of Optimus. I like the look of him overall but that cab looks like it's going to be pretty… fat. Too fat to go with my Scourge and Bulkhead.
nune
Is it the angle, or does your copy have a quality issue with the eyes? I understand that factory copies often are a bit misshaped, but the smaller eye got my attention personally.

I love the animated Series.
The new ones are cool too.
But the design of the original is better I guess. Anyway. I’ve already ordered

I feel like this was a slip (to me)

And there's still Siege stuff on the shelves. Doesn't matter if it's called Legacy or something else. In fact, I'm pretty sure I saw those PotP pretender things at a store the other week. Some stores just suck at moving stock.

This is too good, how bout phone?

That's definitely a Walmart and retail issue. Unless the shelves are empty, stores won't feel the need to buy new stock. Unless it's an exclusive because then you can bet your sweet bippy that they'll stock those in a heartbeat.

That's because Walmart is stupid.
