I was trying to work out a way to unfold or slide out the grey part of the ramp from the white…but I think my solition (this was years ago) would involve needing a second pair of ramps.

Annoyingly the best solution I saw first time around was someone who modded him replacing the stock arm ramps with vintage G1 Max ramps (including the right arms back's little "garage" part), not exactly a viable solution for everyone, and none of the 3rd Party upgraders took a run at them. Will one of them give it a go this time around?
It'd have to be amazing effort to snag me as I ended up fabbing my own using LEGO to create partsforming extensions from a pair of G1 Onslaught ramps, then upgrading them to be ER Battle Master RampBot compatible using some parts from Nonnef's Omega Supreme road extension kits.

Black Zarak is already produced and in stock, and its current price reflects what it cost to make when it was produced 2 years ago. Fortress Maximus is being produced today, and what it costs to make a Titan today has gone up since Black Zarak.

Y'know, I did see some random 3d printed guns for his arms recently that I don't think were there the first time, and look interesting
(but the main thing I still need for mine is ramps. what's the best ramp solution. I can't remember the best ramp solution from the original days)

Lmao I was gonna say don't forget that DIY visor someone on YouTube did and link the vid but after searching for it, turns out it was your video

Just throwing this out there. I have a Fortress Maximus for sale if anyone is interested. Great condition, I never really transformed it or messed with it that much. PM me if interested.
MeGrimlock78
Ah, ok, that makes more sense…no worries, don't kill yourself looking for it.

You know, you could have been a little more thorough in your list and not so vague.

The arm is for Cerberos, not Fort Max. I remember it being posted on Cults, give me a bit and I may be able to dig it up.

I did not know about this…but after googling, I want!
Sorry, what's this? An entire Fort Max arm!?!

There's only the DNA kit. And the other DNA kit. And the Heisenberg set. And the Perfect Effect set. And the Funbie set. And the Toyhax set. And the second Toyhax set. And the Shockwave Lab kit. And the other Shockwave Lab kit. And the Modfans Headmaster. And Siege Cog. And the Ratchet's Operating Studio Kit. And the Tim Heada set. And the Ocean Detail Decals set. And the FLM Headmaster gap filler set. And the FLM Headmaster Gun/Sword set. And that 3d printed arm replacement. And the…

It's… too late for me.
As I type this I have DK-02 and DK-04, along with the Heisenberg gun and master sword sitting on my desk. I picked up a Siege Cog on ebay, and he's on his way. Considering the new Modfans Fortress as well, so I'll have multiple head options.

Don't do it! The upgrades never end on this thing.

If it was a TOS-era NCC-1701, I'd have to back it. My wife would insist on it!
Shin Densetsu
Be careful with the translucent chest door. When opening it, it can crack at the hinge if you don’t pull it up/out a little bit to give the hinge more clearance. There’s some give to it at the hinge which enables you to do that.
WishfulThinking
I have issues with folding his ramp out from behind his back. It likes to just pop off during transformation. Also, the tabs on the feet don't like to lock in city mode. Minor scruples but enough to detract from the overall experience, which is already mediocre in comparison to the original unfortunately.
Both of those issues weren't present on my Grand Maximus and, with having a better deco, Grand easily beats out my Fort Max for my favorite. Again, though, neither hold a candle to my Encore Fort Max (who also has some minor issues).
Really, my best copy of the Maximusi is Brave Maximus…despite lacking accessories (those were only available through some sort of contest, IIRC – and the Master Sword came with a TRU exclusive 2-pack of Fire Convoy and God Magnus). Otherwise, he's flawless. He's also the most striking looking with a nighttime theme. Since they're resurrecting the TR Fort Max mold again, they really should consider a Selects release for Brave.

Hell yeah, happy to see this reissued! I wasn’t able to get Fort Max the first time around, so I’m looking forward to this.
I do recall from around when he first released though that there was some weak plastic somewhere – some hinges or joints? – so I’m hoping this batch isn’t as problematic

Hurm…so I've been thinking….rumours are a new Star Trek series called Legacy could be in the works once the Hollywood strikes are settled.
It would be funny if re-releasing Fort Max was a way to gauge interest in a HasLab of Fort Max Enterprise…

Though, yes, making a HasLab a Crossover as well may limit the appeal…
