It was during Pulsecon. You entered your email for a chance to win one item of your choice. It already ended. It was on Hasbropulse.com. You probably didn’t notice it.

Giveaway?
Ilovetransformers22
No. I believe that is next Tuesday (Oct. 3).
Bustermaster
Did they announce the giveaways already?
G.B. Blackrock
Not going to lie. Although G1 is where my own nostalgia lies, there are a bunch of later-G1 characters that I either wouldn't even remember if they WERE redone, or they'd have to be redone so far from what the original toy represented (see my comments on what I call the "not-Pretenders") that any nostalgia wouldn't be triggered so as to entice me.
Having said that, I'm very anxious to see the Omnibots redone.
Isaac Staffeld
I’m hoping for core class battle ravage finally
Johntimus Prime
My favorite use of the TR Optimus mold is actually Ryu from the Street Fighter crossover…it's weird but great
ProfessionalIcee
Brainstorm is massive for a Voyager and has some well-documented issues with his Headmaster gimmick, one without Head-Converts-To-Pilot and a more involved transformation would be a home run. Even a new mold Marvel Brainstorm would be welcome.

Yessir!
I'm really hoping for a Selects release of Sandstorm some day.
Octane is probably my favorite of the TR Triple Changers, a really solid figure. Always perplexes me to see others bash the mold.
tjmd
Energon Megs looks so perfect as a core class figure. I really hope they can continue with that level of perfection at that size. So far, I’ve loved the ones I got and this one with sculpting and color look great.
Ilovetransformers22
Now we’ve seen what they can do with Energon Megatron at core class looking really nice. Now I want a leader class Energon Megatron.
I’m not really sure how they can tackle the Energon Autobots combining gimmick. I’m sure they will find a way. Energon Optimus can be a commander.
WishfulThinking
Yeah, I'd be down for a new Springer. The current Siege version is A. non-intuitive to transform and B. has the "dirty wash" deco. Also, VERY much down for a new Sandstorm.
Octane is the one guy I'm pretty happy with as far as Titans Returns goes. He's the same size as the current leaders and I like his Headmaster gimmick. They'd have to really impress me to get me to upgrade. I'd almost rather have an SS86 Astrotrain before a new Octane.
Johntimus Prime
Also I'm looking forward to SS86 Springer and Legacy Sandstorm. Siege Springer was solid but I have a feeling this one will be even better. Also will be nice to finally have a G1-accurate Sandstorm as opposed to just a retool. The dune buggy/VTOL was neat but not really…well, Sandstorm. Also really hope we eventually get a new Octane to complete the Triple Changers outside of Broadside, everyone's favorite.
Johntimus Prime
Also Bugbite
_Flashback_
I always defended the Energon Decepticons. They were some of my favorite figures up to that point. I’d check out some updates but those figures were done well the first time around IMO.
Not sure how they would improve the Autobots without removing the combiner gimmick or jacking up the price though.
Robogeek28
I dream of the day that we get an Energon Megatron in Leader Class with modern day articulation.
Isaac Staffeld
People can say what they want about the show, but man as a kid I always wanted energon toys because they were just awesome designs with awesome Gimmicks. I hope one day we get a proper leader version and a commander Optimus.
BreathOfLinking04
Speaking as the one of the seven or so sole surviving Energon fans,
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I don't even care that it's just a core class, hell, that just makes it way easier on my wallet. I didn't think he'd come with the tank as an accessory as a core class, either, so that's a fantastic bonus. And watching the post-stream chat fill with so much actual love for the figure and even for Energon/Superlink in general honestly just made my heart warm. I'm just happy that all those fun designs aren't going to be lost to the void forever and that we might even get more in the future.
On a similar note, I'm quite excited to see Tidal Wave as well. Legacy has been hitting most of Armada out of the park, especially with Powerlinx Hot Shot and the fact that he actually has Jolt (wonder if we'll get a Ramjet as well). Very happy that this line didn't just stick with "G1-ify old character designs" and has started really going all-out on the old looks. Still not the biggest fan of how the Prime characters turned out and my nostalgia makes me wish the Cybertron characters could've kept their cyber key gimmicks, but it's far from the worst trade-off.
Also giving special mentions to the Magmatron, the Animated figures and Chase. Like I said, it's great that they're sticking to the original designs for the former, especially since Animated's style is so striking and Magmatron is so unique. As for Chase, it's really just novel that they're taking preschooler-friendly toys and making them into actual figures. They're taking far more risks the further we get through this line, and I'm all for it. Hope it'll keep lasting for quite a while, and I can't wait to see what'll come next.
Eleyre
I would really be surprised if that was it. The original Omega Supreme, Jetfire, and deluxe Insecticons were all owned by another company (unless they got bought out by Takara/Hasbro. Not well kept up on that
). Even if that were an issue, they should be able to release them in the same way they've been releasing Crasher over the years.
WishfulThinking
I liked Brainstorm and Arcee, although the latter was less IDW in design and more of a G1 take.
The rest? Ugh. Even Springer didn't do much for me although I know he's a well respected figure in the community.
