Via their Facebook page, third party company DNA Design have revealed their new DK-46 Upgrade Kit for the Studio Series Leader ROTB Scourge figure.
This kit contains a new head, arms, and other parts to make him more accurate to the movie model. It has an estimated release date for December of this year.

Overall not a bad kit. Sturdy and not brittle. The LED eyes are amazing.

I honestly really like this kit but I was hoping someone would create an integrated hand cannon where the claw would peg over a cannon attachment but I guess that’s too much of a reach

they actually did add the shoulder parts to the DK-44 kit after fan feedback so yeah

Maybe if we bring enough awareness they could add the other hand? I know they changed a few things like the details on GE OP's kit but dunno if anything substantial like another arm has even been changed.

I know modification is the only way the figure can be fixed. So if you can offer a fix It would be much appreciated.

Damn, this is actually a really nice kit. However, I do personally wish that he came with a normal arm on the claw side (the dumbest nitpick but still). Also, am I just dumb or does a DK-45 just not exist?)

This is a really solid kit that genuinely addresses a lot of inconsistencies between the initial design he was based on and the finished product. My only real issue with the set is the same one I had with the Optimus one: it favours the robot entirely at the expense of the vehicle. On the stock toy the storage for the cannon arm is recreating actual details from the prop truck in the film, so they've actively taken away details without adding new ones (still no trailer hitch, and they could have made inserts for his heels that look like tail lights).
Yeah I'm surprised they didn't include one, but given they didn't add shoulder parts either, they may be waiting to see how this sells and then make a secondary add-on kit like they did with PotP Optimal Optimus.
I can't see them wanting the claw to be unscrewed when the existing peg exists.
As for the blade arm there's no springs for ratchets or anything so unscrewing it shouldn't be too bad. I have a glasses repair kit and the screwdrivers from those work great. Thankfully it shouldn't require any pin punching.

I find that I prefer the original head, I just wish that it held in place better. But aside that, it's the claw hand that's the one thing that I would want as if there's one annoyance (outside of the loose head) is that they didn't make the claw articulated.
The rest of the kit just doesn't feel needed for me… it's nice to bulk him up, but not worth the expense as others have stated, he's a bit expensive for what we got, even if it's a great looking figure.

in fact the hand looks like it comes out from the cannon, it would only need a post to connect to said cannon and thats it,, but yeah, missing a hand
edit: am i the only one who thinks the right hand they made is lacking in details?

Yeah the upgrade kits looks fantastic but I more worried if I would need to unscrew the arms (I know the sword arm is 100% needing to be unscrewed but I\'m not sure about the claw arm. I hope that for the claw arm all you need to do is remove said arm via the mushroom joint

I have only bought one upgrade kit (SS44 DOTM Optimus Prime) partly because my son broke a piece off his Jetwing, but I do love all the extra accessories and better paint. But I couldn’t resist preordering this! I really like Scourge and enjoy his transformation; this just takes that figure to another level!

Wow, DNA actually pulled through with this one. I didn\'t think they could salvage such a bad looking figure that so fundamentally missed the mark on screen accuracy, but they did. Thickening limbs isn\'t an easy task, so I\'m pretty blown away that they did it this effectively. First thing I\'ve seen to not enhance my regret of this since day 1 of getting him.

Hmm, I would consider him, but I don't already have Scourge and don't want to pay just shy of twice as much to make the toy do it's job properly.
