I'm honestly surprised people even like the original toy, I've had it since it came out and I've always found it to be ugly and unimpressive. It doesn't help that the video game design is probably one of least favorite Megatron designs

In defense of Gamer Megatron who appears to be getting almost nothing but scorn from the collecting community:
Accuracy to the source material can sometimes be a curse, and most the things people prefer about the old WFC Megatron were the things that were inaccurate to the game like the deco, cannon, headsculpt, treads, and arms. The new one is drastically more accurate to the in-game model, I think people just forget that WFC Megatron is a very ‘ugly’ design.
The back of the figure not having the Decepticon symbol or thrusters is a legit knock against it though, especially in an era where they seem to be trying to make the figures accurate from as many angles as possible.

EDIT: Just kidding, I work in an hour apparently. Around the 38-39 minute mark there appears to be a few short sentences that got cut off/probably trimmed out by mistake. Aaron says maybe 2-3 sentences for a good 15-20 minute stretch. I'll see if I can fix that tonight. I'll hop back in the thread/re-edit once I get a chance to listen to the other bit.

I was listening to the episode again and Aaron's audio drops at least twice
First time was around 31 minutes in and we don't hear him again until about the 49 minute mark. Second time was around the 01:05 and lasts for about a minute or two before he comes back. I don't listen through Google Podcasts, I use a different app

RE-EDIT: Okay so. I'm listening to the episode again just to see if I missed anything on the editing passes. I listen to each episode a couple times before releasing to catch things, and I don't know what's going on here. If someone catches something and can give me a timestamp or a segment that it happens, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
There were some sync/data loss issues that I've cobbled together and I'm worried that instead of fixing timing I might have erased his feed. Everyone reporting is on Google Podcasts, if that's the issue for some reason, but platform shouldn't matter. I'm confused as hell.

I dont know if this is a platform specific problem; I listened this episode with 'google podcasts' -app, and there was multiple occasions of silence where Aaron was supposedly talking. FYI

I was SO outraged with their Menasor set. They only matched one of the hands to transform properly, and they know they did it wrong because they just told you transform around it, which screwed up mine closing up right. So I didn't even like the parts I got th stupid set for. Some of their intended spots to store bits I swear must've been glued on to survive the photo shoot. And that sword. Their animated prowl kit is their last chance for me.

In defense of SS102's alt mode:
The way the legs explode up to the back of the truck is reminiscent of the headache racks on the oilfield trucks my dad used to drive. even the way the legs end up looking in alt mode evoke that style of semi truck for me. the back end is typically a frame with some wheels and a trailer hitch. Just not a lot going on. Hasbro could have given us some paint to really sell the concept but it works for me.View attachment 30090213

Didn’t get that from Huntsman, I found the transformation was pretty intuitive and other than the head being snug it’s a lovely experience. Not sure I’d double dip (pun intended) as Stalker was bought for sentimental reasons, and I don’t feel the need for a giant Doubledealer.
The toy just has a lot of presence and feels very solid, plus like there not Armada Megatron it’s fun to tinker with, it’s got a real tactility to go with the subtle colours!

Also glad to hear my question read! And that it caused so much confusion for the hosts. Also, I legit thought TJ was joking when he said Pyra and Mythra were from Fire Emblem because that would be the meme about tons of FE characters in Smash and when Pyra/Mythra were announced people complained about more anime sword fighters. But they are from a JRPG so IT'S DIFFERENT! Also if Chris wanted to make a joke about it, the joke is "Ah yes, Xenoblade. The game with a blonde guy in his underwear saying "I'm really feeling it!"."
