We have now high quality images and comparison size shots in robot mode next to other Kingdom and Studio Series toys: Hot Rod, Rodimus, Arcee, Kup and Grimlock for those still wondering about scale. To top it all, we finally have clear shots in alt mode, side by side with Earthrise Optimus Prime. Magnus’ cab can be separated from the trailer and scales very well with the aforementioned toy. un this mode, Magnus can carry up to three Deluxe Autobots like Blurr, Arcee and Kup.

SS86 Magnus is fantastic! I prefer the inner robot but he doesn’t have it in the film and it’s probably for the better in this case. He’s super solid and chunky. Beautiful paint and sculpt. He has a super fun transformation and a super solid truck. 4 modern deluxe cars can fit into his trailer. But also 1 G1 car and 3 modern deluxe work too!

Does anyone else have slightly smudged guns from being stored in contact with the fireblast effects? I notice a tiny amount of paint stripping caused by that with mine.
Also, does anyone have any issues with paint flaking? I tried transforming my Magnus and paint chipped off one of the shoulder joints when swiveling the panel (that holds the shoulder missile) around.

I was thinking the same thing about the springs. I'm going to see if I can remove them or not when I get my copy.

Great shots. Posed in the group shot his scale seems plenty reasonable. Roughly a head height taller than he should be is a pretty small price to pay for a correctly scaled alt that can haul cars, and transforms properly.

That's because what precise shade the plastic is depends on what kind of light is hitting the surface. Nylon absorbs light weird!

And, so, yeah, there may be some variance in how the plastic absorbs/reflects light as it curves towards and aways from you, sure.

Mine finally arrived yesterday! After getting shipped to two more states!
Overall it's nice. Kinda wish the doors for the matrix chamber didn't have springs, but it is what it is.

It is a separate piece. It's also a separate piece that is two different shades of white. That's why I circled it.

Just opened my Magnus. He's amazing. Probably my favorite Transformer since Star Saber, and could even beat Deathsaurus in the end…
