Transformers Hall of Fame Voting 2023 Now Live!

Voted RID Optimus to encourage more original versions of the character.

If RID Scourge wins an easy way for Hasbro and Takara to celebrate would be to release a repaint of Velocitron Scourge in show or toy accurate colors.

Preferably toy colors given that awesome looking translucent red they used for the TRU exclusive in 2002.

Armada OP is such an obvious vote, blows everything else away even when the standards are pretty high for this line.

I voted Landfill because I'd love to see a modern take on that type of combination scheme. He's also just such a vibrant and visually distinct combiner design that I'd like to see again.

I really wish Hasbro had opened up the toy of the year vote to some of the movie toys. I voted for Armada Optimus since it's Legacy only, but if it were an open vote, my vote would go to the ROTB Ultimate Optimus Primal that Takara released. I can't put him down.

And yes, please release a DVD set for RID2001.

Anyway, Sky-Byte and Optimus are the obvious winners. They need to come up with more nuance in their polls if they actually want some results we will find interesting.

I went with T-Ai in the hopes of a large PVC figure from TT and Devcon, because they turned a mediocre mold into a fun toy

I voted Galvatron/Megatron, because i absolutely lurrrv his personality + he needs a new toy! & Legacy Armada Optimus Prime.  

Mind that Brave Max needs A toy, since Hasbro bailed on importing him internationally. I'm a little surprised there isn't more effort from the peanut gallery to get him out in front of Hasbro. If nothing else, a new Brave Maximus toy could be a pre-tool for a future Fortress Maximus (despite Hasbro pulling out the TR mold for another run).

I have a feeling RID Sky-Byte and Legacy Armada Optimus are going to be winning regardless, so I went with RID Scourge and Legacy Tarn. Scourge because his design is awesome

That’s why I voted for him. I couldn’t make it through the first few episodes of RID, but I like that design (even if I hate how fiddly the toys are). Let’s get Fire Convoy and God Magnus with new toys!

I totally get it, but seriously, Car Robots is one of those series where the first episodes are kinda like The Three Stooges and the last few turn into an all-out Robocalypse. Give the series finale a shot and work backwards from there.

Also, trying to imagine how they could improve on God Fire Convoy/Omega Prime, and the only thing I can think of is making him a bit more proportional, which would hilariously leave base Prime with the most massive thunder thighs in existence, which I believe we all need right now, hahaha
