The Transformers x Universal Monsters Collab continues today with the reveal and pre-orders for Frankentron. The figure joins the previously released Draculus from back in 2021, and to tell the truth, we thought this collab was done. Luckily not, as the transforming Frankenstein’s Monster is now going live for pre-order. Retail is $34.99 with a ship date of September 2023 (OMG). Draculus was months late too, though I was hoping if they did another monster that they would have timed it better.

It's probably timed so we're THINKING about Halloween when the preorder goes up. If we got a Halloween item preorder in May with October release then "oh noes, I don't want to think about fall, spring just started!" Or some such corporate BS.

…of course, they could have had it in stock when the listing went up…

So, Pulse has this coming out in January. Is that right? For a Halloween themed toy? Or is the Halloween theme a lesser theme than the Universal Monsters theme?
