This figure is a cartoon-accurate redeco of the Kingdom Deluxe Scorponok mold. He will be released in a 2-pack with a premium redeco of Kingdom Voyager Rhinox.

Oh wow, I never realized that his head and claws/shoulders are actually a different color from each other on the cartoon model. The colors on the BWVS release are definitely off though. I’ll patiently wait for the Masterpiece

Cool for characters like Dinobot who could use some extra paint but for me this honestly probably the most disappointing set of TF releases this year behind the Gamer Edition figures.

Takara dropping the ball on these sets imo. Glad I’m not forking over any money for these. Staying happy/content with my kingdom/legacy versions. More power to those buying these

It's hard to tolerate this guy's chunky manlet stylization after seeing how accurate Tarantulas and Inferno look.

This mold works so well as sandstorm and in the toy accurate deco but looks so unappealing as the character it was made for

"Stubborn confrontation" is such a great name, it sounds like they're just being dicks to each other. Like they ran into each other in one of the weirdly high number of narrow ravines the show has, and neither one will go "ha, sorry man" and just step aside slightly so the other can pass.
Inferno
They got the correct blue for the head and then proceeded to just do light purple again for the rest of the body for some reason. But at least it's less magenta than the Kingdom release, still not as accurate as it could have been tho.
