You're right, I forgot about that. I guess after my third Impactor figure, I wasn't as excited to buy the character a fourth time, even retooled.

So if it's anything like the Amazon Wreckers set, then it sounds like the Amazon Mayhem Attack Squad will consist of repaints of Bludgeon, Spinister, Needlenose, Flywheels, and Skyquake. Maybe a retooled Needlenose as Windsweeper, with a couple of Fossilizers thrown in.

The Wreckers set was almost all repaints (Impactor, Springer, Topspin, and Bulkhead) with one retooled Deluxe (Leadfoot) and two retooled Fossilizers, sp I'm not going to get my hopes up for new characters.

Although I'd LOVE to see new molds for Octopunch, Stranglehold, Carnivac, Catilla, Snarler, and Chainclaw, even if they're just POTP-sized.

If Windsweeper was pulled from Selects and put here, I’d love to see the gang molded Targetmasters be repainted into the ones for Spinister, since his aren’t the same size as Windsweeper’s so they really stand out.

This makes me wonder if Tidal Wave will be a $250 Titan.

I think given sluggish sales and price sensitive consumers, Hasbro would be likelier to just make Tidal Wave a small Titan.

Bigger than Commander by a meaningful amount. I'm thinking maybe 15" tall? Bigger than the biggest Commander, smaller than the smallest Titan, more complexity than we've seen with either.

Metroplex also had a massive weapon that was almost as tall as he was. I imagine that tidal wave will be a big shorter than other titans, as well as coming with less weapons, which would leave the option for a mini-con open.

That all depends on the complexity of tidal wave though, as I'd imagine they'd incorporate the 3 separate and combining vehicle modes as well as the extra bits that come off to combine with megatron.

But surely what is basically a $5 micromaster would be feasible when compared to the $200 titan it would be packed with

I mean the Nemesis came with nothing and didn’t have a big weapon either :/

Also Tidal Wave has more to do than Metroplex. In an ideal world there’d be a minicon but if L:E is anything to go by this is not an ideal world we’re living in.

I imagine whatever bits of Tidal Wave will break off for Megatron will be what will take up whatever budget there is for a Mini-Con. The primary focus of a Titan Tidal Wave should be his size, articulation, and the Dark Fleet.

Hopefully we can get the minicons sold separately, like Hasbro did with the Battlemasters.

I sure was surprised, and magmatron as commander was definitely a strike out of left field.

At least now maybe tidal wave can have his fucking minicon included with him.

I know. I'm just tired of half-assed renditions of characters. G2 Megatron, especially, still is giving me fits…how many tank Megatron redecos will we have to go through before Hasbro finally does the big guy for real?

Probably soon since this is a different team and they’ll need Megatron designs to do eventually and with doing JBW that mold has a redo.

When this happens, I'm still hoping it's not a straight redeco and we get SOME form of retooling. Even if it's just the head because there's still too much Prime in my G1 cereal.

A head change is possible anything else I’d be suprised by.
