Transformers Legacy Deadeye Duel 2-Pack (Ascenticon Kaskade VS Senate Guard Javelin) In-Hand Images

I got a paint blemish on javelin's chin, as in paint scratched off.

Just opened these up. They’re both great. Kaskades colours are a little too close to Chromia, but they wear the mould well.
Javelin is amazing, the colours just pop and the headsculpt is brilliant. The rifle is awesome too, lovely metallic bronze. This capsule line is the best in a good few years, which is wild as it’s most characters I have no attachment to, and moulds I don’t even like that much. First time I’ve paid full price for a capsule line in years

Even if you had read IDW comics, you still wouldn’t know anything about this pair. I read the books and they were forgettable to me; they didn’t stand out at all. They are not main or deep characters.

I actually found Javelin to be a pretty standout character in the later part of IDW2. She has several standout moments of badassery, enough that she was one of the only characters from that continuity I hope will carry over to future continuities.

That's what I'm counting on since I'm waiting for a sale.  

Got my set this afternoon. Overall pleased with it, though I'll need to work with how Javelin's neck piece slots out of the chest really easily. Everything else seems to tab tight, but that just has too much play in the hinges, and the tab itself just doesn't lock tight. But the figure itself looks fantastic. Bought the Arcee mold on Target clearance for about $11, and I was going to repaint it custom into some other character if a repaint never came along. This totally solved that for me. Certainly the best of the two.

Kaskade is what I was after in some form for the Chromia mold, as I didn't want that retool of Moonracer, etc. as 'Chromia.' So finally having that version of the figure in a new character is just what I was looking for.

Having never read IDW 2.0, I know nothing about this pair. I like to imagine them as part of the security forces tasked by a corrupt Senate with managing the growing civil unrest in Iacon, their conflicting ideologies forcing both to look at the role they've played in causing it and ultimately turning them against each other.

Tbh its not far off that lore wise, its the rumblings of the ascenticons starting to go against the ruling senate that are rationing Energon etc so they are uprising as a result and these two are on the opposite sides of the battle.

The SS Bumblebee Movie Arcee mold has huge feet, with the wheels serving as heel spurs.

Javelin looks a lot like the old 3P Perfect Effect RC figure, in its blue TF Prime-inspired deco.

Totally see it… especially since she came with an optional yellow visor.
