This is what did it? Not the border line pedophile card? Or the devestator testicle? Or the racist robots? This? The movie with the highest auidence score of any Transformers movie ever? Okay
.

Just watched it on Paramount. I'm not going to lie. I lost a little respect for the brand and felt a little embarrassed for myself about my hobby

I do like that Paramount decided to release this on streaming during the week of the UFO hearings.

Is anyone else getting weird static blips on the sound when watching this? Thought it was a buffering issue but if I rewind it the same glitch happens in the same spots.

Finally saw it…
Glad I didnt waste my money at the theater.

Thank God. I\'ve been waiting for the Blu-ray which won\'t be till October and didn\'t want to double dip with the digital copy.

Wouldn't be shocked if this is partially because of everything going on with the strikes in the US. Paramount putting it out on streaming means they fall in the *current world* of residuals versus any theatrical sales.
JD The Last Autobot
not available on Paramount+ or digitally with dubs outside of the United States

“The robots in disguise sequel Transformers: Rise of the Beasts pulled in an estimated $1.1M in its seventh round, down 68%, putting Paramount at $155.6M stateside to date. It's grossed more than the last two films in the overall franchise. With $271.5M overseas, Beasts now sits at $427.1M worldwide.”
Weekend Box Office
According to Wikipedia, “Bumblebee grossed $127.2 million in the United States and Canada, and $340.8 million in other territories, for a total worldwide gross of $468 million.”
Its stronger domestic performance than BUMBLEBEE, especially during this Summer of Disappointing Box Office for Franchises, will be well received by Paramount. And now that it’s clear that China is not a robust market for most American films, foreign expectations will adjust. Overall, I don’t think anyone internally will view ROTB as a failure.

Great! Something to hold me over until Friday.

Ooh, my chance to watch it again so quickly.

Okay, I don't remember anything equivalent of a whole dedicated scene to explain why an adult is able to legally date a minor in the state of Texas in G1, but whatever.
Those characters aren't part of the main cast. I don't care if a bunch of guys equivalent to mindless Decepticon drones don't have lines. I do care if characters like Rhinox and Cheetor, who are part of the main cast and are represented on posters as such, don't get any lines or have any meaningful characterizations.
Even if any of that was true, why are you holding $200M+ theatrical movies to the same standard as a cartoon from the '80s? Many people here enjoy it, but are self aware of the flaws. A much higher standard should be expected out of the movies.

Good for people who like watch movies on small screen in low hd resolution deal with buffering and skipping bound happen eventually it will be taken off streaming someday nothing lasts forever on streaming it was good movie could have done without speech of little brother convince older brother get back in fight still good to see
wow you explained exactly what cartoon shows have done
prime did stab megatron with sword kill him in cartoon , prime killed decpeticons and megatron in animated movie if unicron have not reformat them.,
dumb jokes long list there g1 series have done there power glide riding carousel, megatron got blasted in nuts , grimlock on cybertron wear apron to serve autobots and humans at table , autobots wear rubber alien masks to be in Hollywood movie, Optimus playing basket ball.,
transformers g1 characters in series have no lines acid storm , sun storm, screw it rain makers there are others don’t feel like naming them off.,
general g1 fans never say these things about cartoons ,always complain about movies when they do it

Theaters are currently stuffed with Mission Impossible (also Paramount), Barbie, and Oppenheimer.
Starting this week TMNT (also Paramount) joins the fray. If people haven't gone to a theater to watch RotB yet they aren't going to.

Do Paramount realise that there are people who live outside of the US?

It's still a globetrotting artifact chase to stop something so the world doesn't explode like any other Bayverse film. Only this time, they didn't have a bunch of dumb joke scenes interrupting the plot. The movie is Bayverse lite without the bombastic flair. Prime still wants to take heads, the main villain is a repeat of Lockdown who seems undefeatable until he just decides to die, the villains in general die very easily, the villains have an army of boring colorless drones, weird characters deviations like Wheeljack, and some robot characters don't even get lines.
The general audience isn't saying that.
