I have an idea for SS 86 Megatron. Have him equipped with an orange cap, but even though it’s never told in the instructions, the cap can be removed easily. Like how the fossilizer’s combined mode wasn’t in their instructions (I think)

and hopefully he’s silver and not dull grey, and he could be retooled into a toy accurate megatron.

The designers themselves have stated that Megatron will never be a gun again, so I'm sure they've considered all their options. The only way they could *maybe* get away with it if he looked like a Nerf gun like Classics Megatron, but most fans wouldn't be satisfied with that. Even then, they've avoided giving the space gun Decepticons (Sixshot and Shockwave) true space gun modes, so I don't think it'll ever happen for Megs.

Sweet god, yes. I always thought this would make a better "Hot Rod upgraded by the Matrix" than the actual one.

I was thinking something like that also, more of a upgrade form from the Matrix than Hot Rod but bigger and has a trailer.

Wonder if HasTak will ever end up doing this repaint for the Inferno/Grapple mold.

Would be nice as probably the closed we’d get to that concept art. Don’t really see them doing a new mold for that.

Maybe it could be glued on but can still be removed with like pliers or something

For a gun Megatron, my choice would be to do a Core Browning as the real use of the mold, but first use it as Megs.

dont we have all the little dudes that turn into blasters? i just got one thats like a crocodile that turns into a gun. so megatron would probably be able to be a little figure sized gun cause its nowhere near actual gun size.

For a 86 Commander Prime what I'd like to see done besides a better trailer (trailers don't interest me but for a Commander it of course needs it and I want it to be better than ER's) is better proportions (more like Seige than ER), more articulation (double jointed arms, butterfly joints), front wheels hidden, more cartoon accurate in look since it's 86 while of course not going full toon and still fitting in with a generations collection. Roller, and his axe would be nice but who knows since not in the film.

I want roller too. my obsession with overload is actually rooted in my obsession with every version of roller.

I could see them giving a hypothetical SS86 Prime his ax, Roller, and various other accessories that didn't actually appear in the movie just to justify the price. Kinda like how SS86 Gnaw came with the gun from the toy, despite not actually using it in the movie.

And they are going for the nostalgia factor with this line above all else. maybe he will have articulated hangs so he can choke megatron

Frankly I'll take anything but a tank, I get that it's "close enough" to a gun and is decently fitting but it's just been drawn out IMO (that and I just find tank Megatron more appealing in gaudy G2 colors), give me something new. I definitely second the Howitzer idea, that'd be excellent.

Might be too close but at that size should probably be either or just put it in Legacy as G2 colors. Interesting Shockwave’s Core wasn’t a gun and that’s not even close to a real gun.

With how being relatively new entries to the franchise doesn't seem to be a disqualifier anymore (especially if there's potential for some sweet pretooling), It'd love to see a deluxe class ROTB Arcee in post-Legacy Generations, especially since I don't know if they'd make another one in Studio Series before she may or may not reappear in the next movie. She already looks pretty G1 compatible to begin with, maybe make her face a little less segmented and she's basically a G1 Arcee reformatted into a bikeformer with a flashier color scheme.

That would be cool as well. I just think battle Gaia would be a more unique and interesting recolor since he’s very colorful which would catch any kid’s attention I’d say they were sold individually as a Walmart or Target exclusive, and because they haven’t gotten a toy since their original one in 1992

Battle Gaia’s neat but Ruination both more known and appeared in a show.

But whatever they do Ruination will likely be (and should be) done to go with our RID01 stuff and Scourge. Battle Gaia could happen also as some Pulse exclusive thing also.
