The Comic-Con programming schedule rollout continues, with the following Transformers-related panels listed for Saturday:
Saturday, July 22 • 10:30am – 11:30am PDT, Room 29CD
AI in Entertainment: The Performers’ Perspective
AI and machine learning are revolutionizing the world. Entertainment performers must adapt to this groundbreaking technology that can not only replicate their voices and movements but also feed machine learning to create entirely new characters. With the support of the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA) and SAG/AFTRA, this will be a discussion on how existing legal structures can be used in some areas and how new standards need to be built for performers and producers to collaborate on great products while still protecting individual rights to performance and publicity. Moderated by Linsay Rousseau (Transformers: War for Cybertron, God of War Ragnarok), panelists include Ashly Burch (Mythic Quest, Horizon Zero Dawn), Cissy Jones (The Owl House, Transformers Earthrise), Zeke Alton (The Calisto Protocol, SAG/AFTRA board member), and Tim Friedlander (Record of Ragnarok, president/founder of NAVA).
Saturday, July 22 • 1:00pm – 2:30pm, Room 6BCF
Cartoon Voices I
Once again, Mark Evanier has assembled a roster of some of the most-heard performers in the world of animation, and they’re here to tell you what they do, how they do it and then demonstrate it. The dais includes Adam McArthur (Star vs. the Forces of Evil), Elle Newland (Lego Marvel’s Avengers), Keith Scott (Bullwinkle Moose), Bill Farmer (Goofy, Pluto), Dave Fennoy (Batman, Transformers) and Jessica DiCicco (The Emperor’s New School, Muppet Babies). And as usual, the actors will mangle a classic fairy tale for your enjoyment.
Saturday, July 22 • 4:15pm – 5:15pm, Room 6A

Because Skullgrin was one?
PloverNutter
That was such an odd decision. Obviously the figures were done by that point if they showed the bot modes so why did they not show the alt modes? To tease people into wanting more?
KickCounterkick
I remember they didn't reveal vehicle modes for Wave 3 of Legacy and so many people were pissed. Myself included lol
PloverNutter
Probably not. Last year they didn't have one and we had to rely on people in the audience streaming and taking photos with their phones so we could see the Legacy Wave 3 figures. Which was very odd because Hasbro did set up a live stream for the Victory Saber unboxing.
Zodiac1968340
Will there be a live stream tomorrow?
Jazz of Staniz
I will not lie, I only read the headline a few days ago and immediately assumed OH THEY’RE DOING ENERGON SNOWCAT!!!! They’re doing Energon Snowcat as the next G.I. Joe crossover figure! You know, the Transformers character who turned into a G.I. Joe vehicle of the same name in The Energon Universe.

Not exactly what I was expecting for the first Energon figure in nearly two decades, but I won’t be picky with finally getting representation on the show I grew up with, especially when it isn’t looked on fondly today.
Then I actually bothered to read the rest today and realized it was just a skybound comic thing. I haven’t been paying much attention to it, but apparently they’re calling the new shared comic universe the “Energon Universe.”
…
Yeah what is it with Transformers reusing the same names in everything at least twice?
martin entero shoro
Well at least I think he will work like that, I like the white core robot so i prefer to think thats the case. unless they pull of a MP22. and if the figure is good, wich it most likely will be, I wont mind that at all. The bar isnt very high after Kingdom Magnus anyway.

This right here is the statement of the century. I've made the joke a few times that wfc, a trilogy built on g1 but again, had more bayverse (Barricade) then the "everyone's included" legacy line. Anyway I'd absolutely love it if we got a massive commander class Blackout to rival Jetfire. Also a g1 styled Jolt…and Dino….and Que.
KickCounterkick
I for one am surprised we haven't gotten at least one. I seem to remember an 'Everything fits' statement. There's definitely some obvious choices but I would personally like to see Dispensor. Love that guy. He seems funny but a minigun that launces soda cans full of Mtn. Dew would legitimately kill anybody…
But yeah, movie characters would be dope. If G1 can dip its toes in Studio Series, movie characters should be able to come into Legacy…
PloverNutter
Considering that the designers have stated they are aiming for Generations to be a mini MP line I think that is probably what is going to happen
SaberZ
For the Q&A I hope someone asks them about doing movie characters in Legacy. That and the possibility of a new Strika, Whirl, & Roadbuster.
Fatelift1987
My question is
WHERE ARE HATCHET AND 86 HOUND
maloney4playz
BBM megs isnt untill next year unfortunately
i mean, it's another look and preorder for legacy wave 4, the rest of SS wave 4 (including commander magnus), the rest of the toxitron collection gets a reveal (or at least a discussion) and we get to see the rest of the amazon capsule.
plus likely a look at haslab deathsaurus in his package
(also iirc they do a short QnA)
Starglitch
Yeah thats kind of what I'm thinking here. I would like a new inner robot since that Siege/Kingdom Magnus inner robot didn't really scratch that itch that well.
Knowing Hasbro they'll just say "If you want an inner robot, buy the Siege/Kingdom mold."
