THE-TRANSFORMER
As someone who spends (wastes?) a lot of money on artwork, Moor Art has been a massive miss on so many levels.
I feel like offering my services as an artistic director or something to help them out.
Heck. Maybe I just approach Hasbro myself, request a print license and show them how it's really done :/
Blackarachnia1996
I wish the above link I posted wasn’t so ridiculous, lol.
I like how they have Casey Coller credited as the artist on their main page and in the listings… what a shit show.

I’d suggest people start mentioning this on their Instagram post. It’s pretty devoid of any mention of the tracing, and I think a company should understand the ethics of what they’re doing. Obviously be respectful, but I think a little pressure wouldn’t hurt so that hopefully they will stop letting this happen.

Chopper Face
Ha! Shocking. It’s even more prevalent than I initially thought.
I was about to do the lazy man’s version of pointing this out but I’m way more impressed with your approach.
Shame because it’s a genuinely decent composition. The artist simply didn’t apply any actual artistic approach when translating his concept.

Nice.

This looks really cool at first glance and then you notice it\'s all traced bullshit. To me just tracing a product or already made model and putting it out is on the same level as the ai generated crap. It doesn\'t make you an artist, it just makes you look lazy and you\'re just trying to stroke your ego.
cloudballoon
This is totally optional though. BW fans could/should boycott it so this tracing "work" is not rewarded.
Valkysas
Isn’t this the same guy who got caught tracing fan photos of official and third party toys without permission for a previous print?
Warpshard
I can't help but feel like Blackarachnia is traced from one of her MP stock photos. I know her head's been gotten down to a fine art at this point, but that exact angle I swear I've seen before. And Tarantulus is 110% his Kingdom toy's head.
Also, maybe I'm imagining it, but I think Primal is a combination of one of the promotional renders for the shitty Machinima shows for the Prime Trilogy, plus the detailing of the MP. All the details line up to the MP near perfectly, but the actual pose I think I've also seen before.
shibamura_prime
Looking at their linked online portfolio, tracing stock photos is all this person really does. It's sad that this kind of stuff is what gets pushed while there are much better artists with obvious love for the franchise who could get the spotlight instead.

Yeah at first I was stoked but upon further examination… This seems pretty scummy. 😐
octobotimus
Definitely using photos from other places as either reference or direct traces. I’m willing to bet Megs’s face is as well, that face looks like it’s directly from the Takara figure’s smiling head.
MrLemming
I mean it’s not bad, but regulating fan favorites to a glorified headshot cameo…
/Wwwwaspinator no like!
SPLIT LIP
Waspinator looks like Starscream from a scene in "Possession."
Verno
Oh dear. That's a bit cheeky. And still badly copied. Inferno's legs and head antenna are black, not red.
How quickly the excitement ebbs away.
NickKnack13
Rattrap is def one of the stock renders Mainframe used back in the day, and I'm unsure if I recognize Waspinator from an early season 1 episode or the same set of stock renders. Tigatron is the MP again, Megs is the MP (Rex hand is obvs), and I'm unsure of the others but there's almost no way they're original
ScorponokIsHere
what if: moor-art gallery had a transformers lithograph that wasn't just a collection of photographs from google image search

Almost all of them look like traces. Cheetor's hand is a dead giveaway for the MP due to the super straight thumb. Even the Pred headshots look to be directly traced from scenes of the show.
03Mach1
It’s no Tom Whalen. But if people like it…
NickKnack13
Dinobot looks like a weak photoshop of a stock photo lmao
Edit: Naw I'm certain, cuz that Rhinox is almost certainly a trace of the Hard Heroes Statue
