Legacy Dreadwing is great. He feels much better than Skyquake. I also prefer the character over his brother. He’s one of my favourite cons from TFP and I can’t believe I have one for CHUG.
After watching several videos on how to correctly transform the torso, I can say this mold is probably one of my favorites this year. I love the dark blue with the gold. It’s also neat be as the cannon. Was expecting some bombs but nothing DNA can’t make. Overall a nice leader to end Evo. It’s a straight recolor, right? Just wondering, not complaining. Definitely adding it to my collection. Having the set will look nice.

Yeah, there's that and I believe that version of Skyquake commands the Predator faction. Which I'd like to guess was one of the main reasons they allowed the "Needlenose" mold to be able to connect to him in alt mold. So the Needlenose mold will eventually become at least 1 of the Predator figures sometime next year as well.

Yess, I was thinking that too! Needlenose resembles Snare quite a bit in vehicle mode, he’d be at least one of the characters. Earthrise Doubledealer (and possibly the upcoming Soundwave from next year, if he’s his Machine Wars version) seems 99.9% likely to be Stalker too – You can tell, as Doubledealer has accessories which he never originally came with, but Stalker / MW Soundwave did, so it’s only a matter of time.

I don't follow TF PRIME that much so maybe I thought the 2 brothers faces were slightly different in previous pictures so I based part of my opinion on that. And with all the potential speculation this mold has received with other characters, I personally wanted some of them to be a little more distinctive perhaps. But it's fine either way…

So public apologies to @Q Prime and anyone else that might've been offended by my previous comments. My response was truly uncalled for and should've been handled better. That being said, I hope we all end up enjoying this figure and any other retools to follow.  

I realise this is a little late, what with you already having Skyquake, but for me who, like you wants ‘G1-ified’ versions of characters from other continuities, I’ve held off on buying the initial Skyquake but will pick up this Dreadwing (who in my opinion has a superior colour scheme to Legacy Skyquake) and then pick up the inevitable G1 version of this Skyquake mold, which will likely be a store exclusive.

He’ll hopefully have his fully G1 head alongside his Euro G1 colour scheme, and I’ll have Dreadwing be G1 Skyquake’s brother instead. This way with the (in theory) new head they’ll look that bit more different, they’ll both stand out against each other a lot more then.

Hmmm. Hmmm.

I like him. Not as much as my Prime Dreadwing, but I give the Hasbro team props for continuing the better-rendered headsculpts, especially considering how good the original figures' heads were. Still haven't decided if I'm going to go all in on him and his brother, but it's a tempting notion.

Homage to G1 Skyquake. Same reason the jet looks different and he has a different forehead crest.

Ohhhh that makes sense. It's pretty cool knowing that now.

This may have come up during Skyquake\'s reveal, but why is the chest a seperate transluscent cockpit that does not resemble the jet?
