Went back and watched Hoists promo video, I think its the first one with all english labeling through the whole video . The thumbnail is japanese but everything labeled in the video is either done in english or both. Kaen's was mostly Japanese with some English labeling, just lije Skyfire. Just one of those hmmm moments, dont know if it actually means somerthing

Absolutely! Warpath and Powerglide are a must. Easily my favorite minibots.

Similar to Grapple/ Inferno, they did a great job with a dopey looking character, actually made them look kind of cool.
Hoping for S2 minis as they were pretty dopey too, but were some of my favorite characters. Hpist and Grapple need their buddy Warpath.

There's a lot of good stuff coming out for sure! But Hoist is still one of my most anticipated releases

With all the missing link news, I forgot how good Moist looks.

Ah right, thanks. Yeah that’s just random plastic and not indicative of what it’ll look like on the final retail figure.

I think he's mistaken the unpainted test shot in vehicle mode for the finished product.
lord ginrai
It’s a hand painted prototype.

I hope it's the lighting or that it's unfinished, but I think the orange plastic for the back half of the truck looks really cheap. Everything else looks fantastic, it's just that one bit that doesn't look great, and it sticks out like a sore thumb. I do have hope that it's early, cause the rearview mirrors also look unfinished.

That style Vanette was used a lot as an ambulance. It was First Aid's alt and even Machine Robo/Gobots Res-Q used it.

I see this a lot, and it simply collapses the legs and that's that. I mean, sure cool. But it's really not as impressive as say, the TT vanbros.

Most people dont pay attention to the stuff that gets posted. We've seen in 3 different Generation books ( Optimus,Starscream and Hoist) how much they pay attention to stuff, in the BTS sketches and interviews.
Gumblor Gimbles
This man (and Rigora) were in my dream. They're in my head. I will preorder them

Yep, glad I'm sticking to the official. The FT version towers this guy, which is not correct. FT did get the look (mostly) but they seem to always overlook "scale". This pic also displays how Inferno is taller than Grapple, yet Grapple is still taller than Hoist. 2 molds, 4 different heights. HasTak ftw yet again! And this is coming from someone who proudly owns some FT figs.
It's stuff like this that makes me laugh when ppl criticize HasTak for figs like Arcee and the seekers when it comes to scale. I think after 40yrs, they know what they're doing! Can't wait for this fig!

sure. I just don't find it that amazing that a short robot with half the train hanging off it forms a long train. half the train isn't even used so naturally they can make it long.

X-Transbots did the opposite with their Host being longer in truck mode but a slightly shorter robot.

With very good engineering, yes.
