Hasbro, Amazon and Transformers Rise of the Beasts held a fan event today in Brooklyn NY, where part of the movie takes place (in the 90s). On the scene were food trucks with Transformers themed items, a display of recent Transformers goodies available on Amazon (#ad), the new Robosen ROTB Optimus Prime, and a very cool mural from artist @Dragon76. He was also there signing autographs and even signed the mural today with a crowd. To cap it all off there was a wheel you could spin for a chance to win tons of products including an Elite Robosen Prime, Lego Optimus, and various ROTB mainline figures.
All in all it was a very cool event, low key but fun. The tacos and donuts were legit, I got an Arcee Adobo Chicken and the Bumblebee mini donuts. 🙂 Read on to check our pics, and if you are in the area, it’s still happening today through 7 PM at the corner of Waterbury and Scholes St in Brooklyn NY!

Adobo chicken just means marinated chicken. Just hastily slapped on names with no rhyme or reason. Glad I just stayed in and skipped it, LOL

It's Adobo chicken (Filipino dish), not Adobe (computer software company).
Cheetor Cauliflower makes no sense. Boo.

These are the lamest attempts at creating Transformers themed food items. "Arcee Adobo Chicken". What does that even mean? Boo!

Edit: fixed spelling.

I went and was a bit disappointed lol…shoutout to the two people who gave me the info about a nearby pharmacy with transformers though!

The mural itself was cool. One little nitpick though which I guess would really only matter to us New Yorkers…dragon 76 used the current 1 World Trade tower. It should really be the World Trade Center twin towers.
all in all it was great however.

I was there too, probably rubbing elbows at some point. Had the car robots shirt on.

So long as you don't mind the mayhem of Times Square it's worth it imo

Yeah, I live in Brooklyn, but between these pics and Benson Yee’s, glad I was working and didn’t drag my wife and toddler to Bushwick for one wall art and two mediocre-looking food trucks.
… they may get dragged to the statues though.
