Hero-X, the publisher behind Transformers: Generations collection of books, is also publishing the classic Marvel Transformers comics for the Japanese market.
Hero-X has already released Vol.1, Vol.2, Vol. 3 and Vol.4. Each volume containing 4 issues of the classic Marvel G1 comics. Hero X Twitter has shared now the amazing cover of Vol. 5 of this collection.
This new cover comes courtesy of artist Andrew Griffith with colors by Kazumaza Yazukuni. This is an impressive art featuring a clash between Optimus Prime and Megatron with Defensor and Bruticus in the background, and we can also spot Ethan Zachary.
You can check out the mirrored cover after the jump and then you can share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I Am James
Oddly it shouldn’t. This should include issues 17-20. So The Smelting Pool, Bridge to Nowhere, Command Performances, and Showdown. Unless it’s skipping issues. The issue you’re thinking of, Afterdeath, is issue #24. And that’s when Bruticus and Defensor are introduced.

Sick, is this volume gonna contain the issue where Optimus accidentally kills NPCs in a video game and decides to commit suicide? I remember that one had the Protectobots and Combaticons.
SHIELD Agent 47
