Just got mine. He's really great. Like many, I wish his feet tucked in his legs like the voyager, but for all we got, one small sacrifice is worth it.

this is an irony takara by themselves can produce an amazing transformer at a good price , yet they sell masterpiece and main line at doble the price they are worth, i miss the time when we get things like these at retail at the leader price point

This guy really brings back a lot of nostalgic feel of those golden age of what a toy should be. Fun, joy, gimmick and full of playability.
I'm really happy to see the return of spring loaded arm blaster where the red blaster will automatically retracts when you push it down. Although the shoulder missle launcher is not spring firing, but the missle shooting is really what make us always play with the olden toys
Primal is having good paint and scuplt detailing. While I believe the details on the upcoming SS Primal will better, this is not half bad. I particularly like the beast mode headscuplt and thr gap filler for the shoulder cannon and the head swapping. And the accuracy is not bad given the gimmicks loaded. If we able to get the sound effect like the olden leader class that will be blessed
My nitpick is the mech tech port, especially the one on the arm. It's also a letdown where Primal can't stand nicely in beast mode and the bot mode feet is just hanging around on the back
Nevertheless, its still one of the best official release for me and I'm looking forward to more such release in future.
