What bugs me more is how they couldn't even do the bare minimum to work in some of the original gimmicks. Especially for the front treads.
The flight ramp is not only just fused in place, it's also half-painted. And the missile silos could have been flip-out pieces.

The scanner is haunted. Be careful, HasTak and/or Figure King photographers.

But leaders are already shrunk down to voyager size and go for $55. We already are paying the price for what should be a solid figure without forearm gaps and parts that actually securely click in. They just keep taking away what we get for our money. Eh, I've ranted a million times about it so it's beating a dead horse. Just want anyone from Hasbro that checks out sites like this to know they are losing sales with their cost cutting.
Also, I see they show mainline voyager Prime. I find it odd that despite the SS Voyager Prime being an exclusive, I was easily able to pre-order him. Yet the mainline prime has only ever briefly shown up on Walmart's website. Otherwise nobody seems to be carrying him.

@HolyCulture, just remember. It's not a lie if you believe it.

If not for the hollowness – particularly the wrists and the underside of the tank cannon – that Megatron would be pretty much perfect.
It's a shame that they are obviously catering to collectors with these releases, but cannot be bothered to give them better treatment than the kiddie shit when molding them.
I'd easily pay an $10 in plastic costs to have a more solid-looking figure. As it stands now, I probably won't be buying it at all.

Sculptwise, FH's recent Masterforce figures look good imo (Clouder and the DreadWings Bros.) but somehow someone at FH of course decided to "grace" them with a sort of forced ChUG style paint deco instead of toon accuracy. I guess overall, it's a great improvement over their SuperGinrai which I despise (especially those pistons on his ankles, that's such a MP1 kind of dated look).

Which sucks for me because I really want some Masterforce figures. It's not that they look bad, but very much " someone will do this better, why bother."

FH toys strip away all the original character of the designs in favour of their own house style, and they look really bland as a result. Their Megatron in particular has this tapered "pretty boy" face that's just incredibly off-putting on that specific character.

Would love to see MP versions of the Armadas( Prime and Megatron), even though they are definitely mainline, I find them more appealing than the Fanhobby versions.
