MC Solaar! Man that brings memories! I remember when KRS One introduced him into the American Hip Hop scene. MC Solar also brought in Acid Jazz (which is what he rapped to) into the US. I remember chillin’ out to that in the historic 18th Street Lounge in DC on weekend nights. Good times. Good times.
I prefer Solaar's song as the official credits song over Nas' one, but I'm biased since I speak French and because I prefer the older style of rap, if I had to pick one. I got excited for a minute and thought, 'I can't believe they're hiring French talent to make a credit song for Transformers.' I thought they were branching out and hiring international talent. At least the French audience will have a treat, just not me xD
But also on the note of rap sucking like dragon said (Don't know how to multiquote) "don’t make whole soundtrack into rap crap"
I only tolerated one single song on the soundtrack. Everything is rap that doesn't sound good to me and that I'm unfamiliar. So the soundtrack is not going to be a highlight for me, which is disappointing.
Is this MC Solaar song the first time any Transformers content has had a non-English/Japanese song? Are there any other songs in different languages?
Well there was that guy that was a star from Hong Kong I think. He's in the movie when Lockdown's ship lifts his car up and he's seen vibing to his song. That's all I know off
If you don't want to listen to it then don't click on the play button. I actually found it helpful the Spotify thing was embedded on the front page so I can just briefly listen to it without me having to hunt it down.
Every time I refresh the front page it automatically redirects me to the Spotify player without me clicking on anything.
I wish tfw2005 would stop trying to redirect me to this. If I want to a listen to it, I’ll do it myself. Don’t need you to cram it down my throat.

see Nas has been on a string of really high quality projects and has one of the greatest of all time under his belt so he's firmly outside of the transformers tie in range. Well actually, Kendrick Lamar did the Black Panther soundtrack, so you never know…
MC Solaar…well that’s a name I haven’t heard since the 90’s. I had no idea that guy was still around. Then again, I don’t listen to much rap, even less french rap.
Gonna clean my ears with some SHOCKWAVE ! The only logical choice when it comes to Transformers theme music
I'm hoping for the Japanese rapper "Banana Ice" to return and cover his "War War, stop it" song for the Japanese release of Rise of the Beasts, because that song was awesome.
MC Solaar releases his new track for the French version of the ROTB soundtrack. Although I can speak French, not exactly fluent in it. Hopefully Genius.com can publish the lyrics later and somebody can translate it after.

Cool, I didn’t realize there were that many alt dubs for the G1 intro

Oh weird. I don't see that happening with me. I don't think that's intended. There must be some bug with the site.
