Hi, Robosen Transformers Admin from Facebook here. I can Confirm, it does NOT Walk.
As an intelligent robot product replicating Optimus Prime\'s character in the movie \"Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,\" the Robosen Optimus Prime signature series robot has achieved a balance in appreance and performance. During the design phase, considerations were made for internal circuitry, hidden intelligent joints, interference from armor during robot movement, and the durability of the joints. The aim was to achieve a movie-level replica in dynamic and static states. Therefore, we chose to temporarily abandon specific movement modes, including walking and transforming, which would affect the overall replication quality of the product. With exclusively designed content and applications, we provide consumers with an immersive movie-level experience.
Black Convoy
New promotional video. I think this clarifies if this figure can walk or not.

ITS THE GUY FROM FORTNITE

I was contemplating on getting this, but the fact that it can't do some crucial things like their G1 Prime (transform or walk) and still cost close to that figure, I'm out. Honestly, $500 would have been a fair price for something like this.

GOAT = Greatest Of All Time
dragon
calling Peter Cullen goat, it looks weird doing poses while floating in air looks like mariachi puppet
PrimulArchangel
not impressed at all with this.. All of these things have been pretty boring to me.

I feel sorry for anyone who owns this KO instead of the real deal.
The Happenin Rhinoceros
Same. Looks like I'm saving my money for Grimlock *shrug*

The screw hole in the back of the head indicates people will be making more accurate face sculpt for this for years to come

Actually, that's exactly how it works. New technologies are all the rage when they first come out and are super expensive. Then as time goes on, they get cheaper as the market fills with more.
The only thing though, for these Robosen Transformers, is that they have no competitors, so the figures might forever be expensive.
Rob
Ah that's a real shame, but thank you for the response.
Shame I was hoping for a non-transforming version of their G1 Prime. I may have to pass on this
.

Not that I'm aware of. The G1 Bumblebee has walking commands in the Bluetooth remote app, in addition to quick action sequences and kicks etc. This one just had quick action sequences based around the arms (gun, axe, sword).
The legs can pose out and move within sequences, but don't think pure walking is intended.
Pteraxadon
So is it a glorified automated action figure?
Rob
Yeah so did PrimeVPrime ,but they have conflicting info on if it can walk or not. Kind of is an important aspect for me.
