Hot on the heel of the full reveal of the Robosen Transformers Rise Of The Beasts Optimus Prime Signature Robot the official Robosen Weibo have also shared a promotional video of their Transformers G1 Bumblebee animatronic figure.
This another non-transforming but fully articulated cartoon-accurate animatronic Bumblebee figure. As with other Robosen product, the movement can be programmed via an app and interact with voice commands. We also have images of a sample which was shown at a recent Robosen product launch in Beijing together with the ROTB Optimus Prime animatronic figure. While product details are yet to be revealed, the price of the Robosen G1 in China will be 2999 Yuan which is $425.00 approximately.
See the mirrored images and a mirror of the promotional video after the jump.

From the sounds of a few live interviews I heard… Robosen may have go down a couple different roads… depends on which non transforming Robosen sells better..
I.e. the newer movie Prime or Bumblebee… also depending how well this line sells.
From what I can tell they have the following lines:
Depending on which character and lines sell well they will continue.
Assuming this hypothesis is accurate I can imagine and hope Robosen releasing:
this is ALL just speculating.

Yeah if they were going to make one that didn't transform Megatron would have been a better bet.
Despite myself being a Geewuner I gotta say I'm kinda surprised they made a Bumblebee that looks like the cartoon character and didn't go for the movieverse aesthetic — I would have thought there would have been a wider market for that.
Though I personally want a dancing Soundwave that doubles as a smart speaker. They could easily retool it into Blaster too.

maybe it was more a matter of not being able to squeeze motorized legs and arms into such a compact design and be able to do all the stuff that Prime does
Sunbow Prime
I refuse to believe they need a license to transform into this:

Action figures exist.

This company won\'t even answer their support messages. I got the Prime and will no longer buy anymore.

Prime version looks better this is good cheap alternative

If this looked like the cartoon I’d probably have bitten. It’s neat, but it doesn’t hit the right notes for my mental image to justify it.
That guy named storm
When in gods green earth did this happen or was announced??
Boss Borot
I'm glad I don't like the proportions or face sculpt, because otherwise I'd probably be all over this expensive nonsense.

I have to wonder if VW didn\'t give the okay to the license, hence the non-transforming which would have put this toy into a whole nother level of fun…
that said, the failed transformation attempt gave me a chuckle…
and he and Prime can do a true Jane Fonda style workout next to each other…

Seems to me that most of the fun of these things is the transformation

It’s mainly aimed at adult collectors, if parents decide to pay $400 for a 1980’s non-transforming Transformer for their kid, that’s on them. But I would hesitate to say that that’s the market in mind.
franpincho
Yeah. I don’t need a dancing transformer.
I get that Prime may be an easier robot to make it transform (IMHO) but still, this is the #1 appeal for me when it comes to these things, they need to transform.
Afterburner
The quick pivot to non-transformation is a mistake. This isn't nearly as interesting as Optimus, it's just another robot (although at least it is Bumblebee and not some random ugly name-slap like with the movies).

Speak for yourself, rich kids love bumblebee and this line is for rich dads.

Megatron should of been second in this line. Megatron would of sold out and increase sales rate for OP. Also Bumblebee has become a much more disliked character to G1 collectors due to his over piweered performance in flims.
