But of course! How else would they get Porsche to finally license their cars for "war robots"?
ambarmettatron
So many assumptions!
Seems like a win. Given the movie looks to Terminator 2, that only makes sense.
Lol.
Let us never forget Wolverine: Origins.
God knows I've tried.
Feel like best answer is "watch the film"
Triceradon
Our moon was formed around 4.5 billion years ago, about a billion years before the first unicellular life evolved. Putting aside any mechanics of time travel, there is no way that the planet being eaten is Earth.
PrimusMaximus04
Huh, missed that somehow
RazorX3000
Yeah it was just posted on that specific channel today but it’s been up on other paramount/transformers social accounts ever since last week
PrimusMaximus04
Huh, I thought it said it was posted an hour ago. Nevermind me then
RazorX3000
That’s quite old now haha
PrimusMaximus04
Uhh?? Not sure if this is the right place to post this, or if it’s even newsworthy, but this video just popped up in my recommended feed on YouTube

Unless we're talking about multiverse, no they couldn't.
They can travel to the past to change the future (making another branch of the time), like preventing it in the first place. But no, you can't literally just travel to a time "where Unicron never ate Earth" because time doesn't work that way. Multiverse yes, time travel no.
TheLastPrime11
But if they travel through time right when Unicron was eating Earth couldn't they travel to a time where Unicron never ate Earth?
cybeast
Obligatory that's what she said.
TheDude810
Terrorcons in Prime are literal zombies so, in a way, judging by the grossly skeletal Terrorcon goons like Freezer, it likely is the dead rising.
cybeast
I also don't get what's the horror about, it's Transformers: Rise of the Beast, not Transformers: Rise of the Dead
Maybe the horror Caple talked about is the way the Scorponok army being raised like a zombie horde?
I can't even find Hound during that time tho I bought Smokescreen and Mirage because I like their car looks
On the topic of the movie, I hope that the weapon Mirage gave to Noah is at least Pablo's invention, since he's the so called inventor to the point of sporting the nerd look…
And Mirage is not just that. A one-liner pop culture reference machine.
Autobot Burnout
Yeah, the more Caple runs his mouth, the more I really get the impression that him being a 'fan' is more a marketing push than him actually being a fan. Almost everything he's said, if it isn't confirming the Bayverse is 'protected', reads more like something I'd expect Hasbro to hand in a summary of the Aligned story bible.
Or 'horror'. Seriously, 'horror' keeps getting brought up by him and it has me concerned what exactly about this movie is 'horrifying' if it isn't the obvious regarding Scourge's true identity as an alternate version of Optimus Prime.
I actually don't have him, lol. Hound is the only one I bought at retail, I was young then and I was obsessed with Jeeps.

The director even called them reptillian when they are scorpions
I remember buying him… and he can't even stand on his own weight…
Worst Alternator I bought after the cool one that is Mirage >.>
GAUGE
The suspension of disbelief is ruined with unicron. that CGI looks so awful. Also when planetoids get that close to one another they'd both be completely torn apart and destroyed.
Physics.
I feel like Lucas was the only one capable of making an all metal planet look real when He made
Coruscant.
Today's CGI-heavy stuff just looks bad.
Autobot Burnout
It's why I'm extremely critical about the Terrorcons in ROTB. Other than what the big beam machine is doing in summoning Unicron somehow, is literally anything they actually do that different from the Bayverse Decepticons in the later bay films? It's Stacy Malibu with a New Hat as far as I'm concerned, except this time Stacy Malibu is Revenge of the Fallen.
Yup, early 2000s is when we were graced with the endless seas of Alternator Smokescreen shelfwarmers.
SPLIT LIP
And what about the rest of the movie?
Hell, who was the character Optimus fought in the climax? Because it wasn't Galvatron.
No. Not even close. Transformers' explosive success with the UT, specifically Armada, is what gave Hasbro the confidence to consider the brand live-action movie material.
TF07 was emblematic of Transformers' success, not the source of it. People confuse it, unintentionally or not, with Beast Wars. BW was a reactionary (yet highly successful) attempt at injecting new life to the waning franchise. Transformers has never been at risk of extinction since 1995.
cybeast
Looks like it, to be honest.
People are mistaken about "Decepticon appearing on the movie" with "It being the movie's focus villain overall".
Like, only '07 and BB has Decepticon being direct threat and focus of the movie, the other usually made them into secondary fodder or just doesn't matter at all if you change them into another evil bot factions.
Was Alternator already that old? Jesus Christ I'm old.
