It’s not about how much cheaper bbb/showz are, it’s how much MORE bbts/tcp/tfsource choose to be…. Bbb and showz will both match after shipping.
Curium
It took me longer than it should have, but I figured out at least part of the difference between the price and my expectations. I had forgotten BBB doesn't build the shipping cost into the price like ShowZ does. Until we know how much shipping will be for the set we don't know the actual comparison.
Fenrys
IDK, BBTS usually charges about double the prices on Bombusbee from what I can tell. For example, the Seeker mold is $46.99 on Bombusbee and runs $99.99 on BBTS
Curium
I did look, but obviously I missed it. I went back after your reply and looked harder and found that. I know they are generally cheaper, but $130 seems much larger than normal.
Fenrys
Bombusbee says it's $167
Curium
Hopefully it will be cheaper at ShowZ/BBB, but since they don't have full price yet, but some info can be derived from the US price. BBTS and TCP have it up for $300.

Reign it in and move on.
Like…seriously. Drop the Legos/Lego nonsense.

I doubt even you understand what it is you’re trying to say. I won’t attempt to decipher whatever point it is you think you’re making, because why waste time on unpleasant and unnecessary things? You are dismissed.
OCDChad
Some Lego sets have 18+ on the box.
SSninja
Wait wait wait….they DON'T?
..Then what do you do with them?
TurtleCaps
Ahh I see, because you've seen it and then wrote it in an online forum, it must be true for the world right? It's not like I was on Instagram 3 days ago and saw a British Transformers account talking about this NewAge set with the guy referring to it as Legos.
No shit, which why it's ridiculous for ppl to be condescending towards ppl who don't know the plural of kids building bricks. Your points are so irrelevant, but I expected that from you. Not even the same level. Give a 2 year old Lego, and theyll most likely be able to use it for it's intended purpose. Give a 2 year old a FT mp and they're not going to be able to transform it and most likely break it.
And keep in mind not everybody here takes their 3p transformers and goes pew pew pew with them.

No, it’s definitely an American thing. The only time I’ve ever heard ‘Legos’ used is by Americans (of both US and Canadian flavours).
Mmm. You do know you’re on a forum for talking about plastic toy robots?
TurtleCaps
It's not an American thing, it's an English grammar thing. The "mistake" of calling it Legos comes from the fact you generally add an "s" to make something plural.
When you buy 2 Volkswagens, in Europe do you say I just bought 2 car? Or I just bought 2 cars? Do you look up at the sky at night and say look at all the star? People that don't nerd out on baby building bricks typically aren't aware that Lego is plural already.
So being that you're starting to sound condescending calling others "child-like," take into consideration the last time a lot of us played with Lego, we were 4 years old. Many have since moved on in life as adults and never looked back or cared about binding bricks made for kids, let alone the proper terminology when referring to them. To me, adults that play with building blocks is endearingly child-like and amusing. So to each his own I guess.

It seems to me like a local thing? I’ve only ever heard “Legos” said by Americans. To me as a European, adding an ‘s’ to the plural sounds about as odd as someone calling a group of sheep “sheeps”.
I’m actually quite amused by it, to be honest – it’s endearingly child-like more than anything!
Just one of those odd funny quirks, I guess.
theestampede
Off brand bricks aren’t lego.
and the point of my comment is “looks” it aesthetically looks brick built. This is a problem since it doesn’t aesthetically match any of their figures.
BairdimusPrime
that's my intention

I can kind of understand people's distaste for the Lego aspect, as someone who's always wanted a large model of the Ark mountain base that hasn't ever seemed to get made by anyone. But in this case, I think it's really cool personally. I love legos and while it's not for everyone I can imagine having a lot of fun putting it together.
(Note: Yes, I will continue to use "legos" as plural. Do not police my dialectic. We live in a world where the logically paradoxical non-literal literal is now included in dictionaries and style guides, and where positive anymore is acknowledged as valid despite being grammatically illogical, both of which break my brain. Linguistics is descriptive, not prescriptive, and we're talking about some toy blocks people. It's not that serious.
