I know I’m a bit late, and only got around to listening to this, but are they talking about the Dungeons & Dragons OLG issue, or something else related to it?
I ask, because Vangelus doesn’t seem to have a great handle on what was going down. See, the big draw of DND (for some) was that the license allows for people to write their own 5e books, and sell them.
WOC, decided they didn’t like this & wanted a bigger piece of that market, as well as pushing towards making DND Beyond the place to play DND online.

My answer question gets answered and Vangelus gives a good review of Kingdom Rhinox (he's my favorite character and I like that figure) well this just became my favorite episode.
I should mention in the time that I sent in that listener question Studio Series '86 Ironhide had grown on me and I do own the figure but I'm keeping the Siege figure as a backup, in encase any of the clear plastic panels on the '86 one crack on me.
I did think of another listener question a few months ago but I wanted to wait until this one was answered before I sent it in and now I can't remember it. Hopefully, it will come back to me soon.

I got to looking at my Hot Shot, and ended up fixing the knees. It's actually pretty straightforward. You just gotta shave off those pointless nubs on the knee joint. Without that extra point of resistance, the knees actually stay in position.

15 years later and my infamy for sending TJ disassembled toys lives on. I'm sorry that I spawned imitators but I'm glad other people send you cool stuff. Do you still open your boxes with a Klingon dagger?

i don't get the hate for legacy hot shot. i don't think he's perfect, but he's a fun toy. mine is also tight where it should be like the knees and visor so i don't have those issues that were mentioned.
the gaps in the legs aren't good i will agree there. but people act like it's an affront to god but it's just a flawed toy. it's not like hot shot is one of those 'cursed' characters who will never have a good toy like galvatron and hot rod were for so long. plus i just don't get the 'joke' about hot shot. the original toy isn't that much different than the rest of the armada line in terms of gimmicks and lack of articulation.

extremely happy to hear positive thoughts about Kingdom Rhinox. While I share complaints about the lack of paint, his articulation is so cool that I kinda don't care.
Also, just want to recommend watching the emgo Just Transform It video. if you do the legs in a specific order, it's actually pretty smooth and easy.
