VERY minimal change in that Tiger. If I didn't not have the spider, I'd cancel my preorder. Maybe I'm lucky that mine is still normal colored, but I'm wholly satisfied with my standard version. Sadly, they always pair one I want with one I'm fine skipping.

Used some of the parts from one of the add on kits on BWVS Scorponok and painted over some of the colors.

I still can't believe this Scorponok mold was released as is, with its awful stubby, short and poor proportions. The one on the left looks like a joke.

It is snapped in. Gap is still present.

Make sure the pelvis is firmly pushed back as far as you can before closing the chest? Sometimes it feels like it's in place when it isn't.

It's okay, Tiger's have a tendency to yellow in the wild too.

please dont yellow, please dont yellow, please dont yellow.

Same. It’s becoming a turn off now to toys I would buy but don’t want them to yellow.
GAUGE
How long til Tigetron starts yellowing?
My crappy Hasbro version yellowed super fast within 2 weeks after purchase.

I preferred the realistic beasts and show accurate-ish robot modes that Kingdon went with. We have purely modern interpretations in Universe and purely show accurate designs in MP. I thought the Kingdom aesthetic was a good way for something new while still being the recognizable characters that BW fans wanted.
As I say, this release works in a more show accurate deco, but I wouldn’t have wanted the whole Kingdom line to have show CGI beast modes.
Movie Convoy
On the other hand, I'm not someone who cares about screen accuracy with regard to a lot of series.

My point is the realistic approach was never necessary. They could have gone full on show accuracy in the beasts and they would have been accepted fine. Even now, this "realistic" tiger with its "unrealistic" pure white fur is fine.
Realism is not an integral aspect of any of these characters' designs.

Most of the pictures I see of Scorponok have a bad chest gap and mine is no exception. The three previous uses of the mold were nothing like this. Any ideas on how to fix the gap?
Oniconvoy
Tigatron looks like a great alternative to the Kingdom version. Don’t get me wrong, I like the realistic beast details that Kingdom brought to the table, but hopefully this one doesn’t yellow.

I do think these look pretty great. The mismatching Tigatron green nylon and painted part of the BA legs are really odd choices though. Odd that the Kingdom TT got that right and BWBB BA legs got those colors right on. No regrets on selling the older figures but it may have been nice to have part swap options. Swaptions. Opening up my Rhinox and Scorponok today. Happy for that.
Movie Convoy
The Kingdom release of Tigatron was going for a more realistic white tiger look with the orange-yellow tinges in the fur.

And?
