Third Party company DNA Design, via their Facebook account, have uploaded images of their new upgrade kit: DK-27N Upgrade Kit for Masterpiece Movie MPM-12N Nemesis Prime.
This kit is a redeco of original DNA DK-27 upgrade kit to match the Masterpiece Bumblebee Movie Nemesis Prime. It includes the following parts:
- New forearms – A complete brand new piece which includes articulated hands and hide the alt mode parts.
- Leg extenders – New longer thighs featuring double knee articulation and better upper movement.
- New head – Featuring light piping for the eyes.
- Shoulder panels – New pieces with a hinge articulation that eliminates the infamous “cat ears” in truck mode.
This kit will be a limited run of 1500 units and it is expected for release by June 2023.

It would involve a chest panel add on, the same hands but in silver, a different shoulder piece

I like the addons especially adds some length to his body, but at half the price of what I paid almost, it's a pass. I'm not invested enough to care that much about cat-ears.

MPM-12N is a standard release figure. It was never intended to be or ever will be a limited run figure. DNA Designs has decided to go with a limited release on this particular upgrade set for some reason. Regardless, I have a preorder for this secured.

Because the base figure itself is a limited run, IIRC. They're not going to produce more kits than Nemesis Primes exist, and not everybody who bought a Nemesis will buy the kit.

Why are they doing a limted run? Just do regular release just to make it easier on everyone because I\'m tired of exclusives and limted runs.

I know their is a Ebay axe for MPM12, but I don't know if it will fit on the upgrade kit.

Installed the kit while I was over for dinner at my parents. The pin punch wasn't bad at all. Didn't get a blue paint pen, but it's on my short list, as it sticks out.
Overall, the kit is fantastic. Very happy with my purchase. I don't plan on putting it in truck mode, so I don't have complaints about the truck bed, but it looked bad before. The new thighs make such a crazy difference.
