After being announced almost a year ago we finally have our first look at DLX Arcee by Threezero. Right now it’s just the one image but expect more to be released in the next few days along with preorder information as well as pricing and size info.

As much as I dislike the film's face design, good on them for including a movie accurate head sculpt! It just makes sense for this sort of thing.

I hope this is true. I much prefer the Threezero head over the CGI head. Accuracy or not, the CGI face is squished. I really do hope it comes with both.

Nice to see the head updated. I was decided on not getting her since they went with that random in-accurate head but will probably pick her up down the road if they release her with that new one.
Looks like a lot of detail changed from the protoype as well. You can see that the "indent" that has the autobot insignia is also flatter, which is more accurate to the movie model compared to the prototype, which had it protruding outwards more.

AYO movie accurate head! Imo that looks so much betterr. From what I've heard, it seems like they're going with this head, and if so, I'm glad but it'd be nice if it came with both heads.

I can only imagine all the hurdles Threezero is gonna go through: from retaking shots to even redesigning the box art assuming that this accurate head will be the only version available for the figure. I don't mind which head it comes with, but they need to make a decision and stick to it.

Again, Justin comes through with the best look at the figure yet, especially with regards to colours and paint.
Gotta disagree with his assertion that this Arcee is lifted straight from the screen though, when we clearly have a stylised take on the CG model here in both sculpt and colour. I totally appreciate this is rubbing folk up the wrong way but personally find this arguably more effective than what we saw on screen.
I'm also pretty much sold on the deco and love how vibrant she is. While I would have loved to have seen some more grime and wash on the white (as in the promo shots), there's absolutely enough on the figure overall, particularly on that silver and pink.
Hate the way in which that LED eye functionality works, it's scrappy and archaic, but it's a nitpick and I really can't wait now.

Honestly I like it – just created a pre-order so she can display with my BB Prime. I don't tend to like the movie designs by and large, but just occasionally they'll come up with a decent modern update.
BB Prime is about as good a movie Prime as we've ever seen in my opinion. This will add a nice feeling of scale and colour contrast.

I don't mind the headsculpt that much, but would it hurt them to add a button on the forehead so there's an easier way to turn on the eyes? They should at least add a magnetic switch like the yolopark model kits if it's going to be held in by the screw. That design aspect alone should knock at least $10 from the final price.
