Fan Alliance Masterpiece Scale Transforming Roller Color Prototype

Via third party company Fan Alliance Weibo account, we have new images of the color prototype of their Masterpiece Scale Transforming Roller.

This a transforming and poseable G1 Roller figure which is compatible in alt mode with both official Masterpiece MP-10 and MP-44 Optimus Prime trailers.

We still have no concrete information on price or release date, but you can see the new images after the break. Let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Looks great. How difficult or easy was the switch?

It was relatively easy. The 2 hardest things I dealt with were finding a small enough pin push for his back (used an extra thin screwdriver), and making sure I kept his knee ratchet teeth facing the right way (be careful of the springs too)

I was wondering if there would be a future repaint of the blue one to have that exact sort of metal chest to emulate Apex Roller/Godbomber. But both variations look cool. Nicely done.

Only 2 things are effected in alt-mold.

The color of his kneecap/headlights

Thanks. I thought the red chest would look better on the silver, but didn't expect the gunmetal chest to help make the blue one more intimidating

I just received this guy last night. He is not as solid as a Maketoys or Fans toys but he reminds me of a really great bot when I first began to collect over 10 years ago. I remember buy ing a TERRIBLE stand forming roller and this is so excellent!!! So happy to have him in my connection.

My blue Roller arrived yesterday. I didn't have much time for pictures, but he looks good. I had to reach out to TFSource as they sent me someone else's Roller. I'm waiting on their response.

I will probably make some filler panels for the legs for the blue version when I get it so I can have the wheels out on one version and in on the other. the upper arms are easy enough to keep the wheels out and somewhat untransformed to keep the lines looking ok. but the legs are going to need something to fill that empty space.

This will be the first figure I double dip on at original retail. Looking forward to getting my silver one in now, feel like my Nemesis Prime is lonely
