Coming to us via Chefatron on YouTube we have images of what seems to be a new Transformers Legacy Breakdown variant.
This a totally unexpected G1 toy-deco version of Legacy Breakdown now with more tampos and paint apps and even a new toy-inspired head. We still have no concrete information about how, when or if this variant will ever be released. Stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates!
See the mirrored images after the break, as well as Chefatron video review, and then join to the ongoing discussion on the 2005 Boards!

Wasn't Breakdown the only one in that set with new tooling? They didn't even give the combined form a toy-accurate head.
MegaOmnitron
Well I wasn’t aware of that
Q Prime
They did though? This is the Breakdown from the toy deco Menasor set.
CobraKai
They are an intelligent life form. So the answer is no.
MegaOmnitron
Maybe would give it a chance if they did it for the others.

And now I'm curious if any transformers character has been a "cybertron is flat!" believer…
Toker
Probably those Flat Earthers.
Neko-bot77
I'm sure the people-in-the-know were specifically holding back their info until someone bumped the thread…
Toker
No more news on this?
Shack
Hm, if it's supposedly Buzzworthy and one of the accessories is an alternative head could it be part of the upcoming 4-pack? Admittedly I haven't kept up with this thread, so there's probably some information that disproves that…

up on ebay now-
Transformers Legacy Buzzworthy Breakdown | eBay
listing says it's Buzzworthy. Also includes both heads.

For those that might have been wondering – no, the recent restock on Pulse is just regular Breakdown and not the variant.
Unless I missed some info confirming this is not in fact running change of the Legacy figure but a future release elsewhere.

Yikes, now I feel pretty fortunate to have picked them up so easily…
Seems like Hasbro is at least getting better at it though, at least. Now if they can reissue some of those figures as well, it would be perfect. But hey, not enough spaces to go around.
T-Hybrid
The drawback of repacks, as we saw in Prime Wars and to a lesser extent WfC, if the repacks aren't spaced out well enough it makes it harder to get the few new molds or characters that get packed.
Think Nova Star, Slugslinger, etc.
orangeitis
Repacks are a pretty comfortable alternative, in my opinion. Especially if they can let people get figures they previously missed out on, like Legacy Dirge.
But that's just me.
magick
Ooooh. I like this a lot. Now if we could just do something that back shell.

i hope they do a visor toy head, its bad enough they've released Drag Strip and Shadowstrip without the toy head, i want a toyhead Drag Strip to represent a RID2015 styled Drag Strip.

Probably not the place to do this but…I did the spoiler mod. Exacto knife and emery board. There is a spine on the underside of the spoiler. Split that in half and you should be dead center. Many gradual cuts to ensure no disformity, emery board to straighten and for any burrs.
Spoiler fits Sunstreaker.
WishfulThinking
I do wonder how long it will be before we get a Sunstreaker from Legacy Breakdown, et al. You know, an homage to the homage? I'm surprised we haven't gotten a Destructicon recolor of Earthrise Megatron into Bludgeon yet. Eventually, there'll be this long line of homages of homages of homages of homages…
