We have a new rumor to report today for some upcoming Transformers figures, once again courtesy of TFW’s Jtprime17. This one deals with a pair of listings for the 2024 Legacy “Uni” line, specifically the Wave 2 Cores:
“Tra Gen Legacy UNI Core BW Dinobot
Product Number: F8519
EAN: 5010996216212
Tra Gen Legacy UNI Core BM Cheetor
Product Number: F8520
EAN: 5010996216205”
Yes folks, it seems Beast Machines will be making its Legacy debut!
As always we recommend taking this as a rumor until we get official confirmation, but until then you can let us know what you hope to see out of these two in the discussion thread!

I cannot believe I just bought Arcee.
She has never been one of my favorites.
I did not buy the gawdawful Takara MP version, so this will be my MP Arcee.
I preordered Bee, too.
TF Hot Rod
I won’t be shocked. Way to leave room for a more toon accurate Prime and also way for the 40th to celebrate where it all began.
Obviously yeah.

I really think G1 Prime is just Hasbro putting their most popular version of their most popular character into their most popular size class.
MagnusPrimal
I’m hoping it keeps the yellow eyes.
Skreeonk
This is kinda what I'm hoping, except in Actionmaster colors or a Pepsi Prime homage. Unrealistic I know. I do hope an articulated version of the cab though is what they are going for, because there's definitely a lot of cool repaints they could get from it.
WishfulThinking
I started thinking about it…and I'm now wondering if G1 Prime will be a toyetic version. Basically, an articulated version of this without the cab, yellow eyes, chrome and all:

Bonus points if it's Diaclone Reboot compatible.

It certainly doesn't help that the WotC people said "We got to make a G1 Slicer." Even though that's a lie since the Action Master exists already.
But there's no real "argument" happening.

It definitely helped people recognize what I meant. It didn't help convince anyone to agree with me, but that wasn't my intention. You all know that I was referring to those depictions AS non-SG Slicer though. So yes, it did help me.

I'm just saying, if you use an ambiguous term, post it alongside tiny thumbnails, then just double-down when someone posts a response using the natural interpretation of the ambiguous term, I don't think it's entirely the *other* person's fault when an argument breaks out. It all could have been avoided with more clarity from the get-go.
BlackHawkOmega
it's not orange's fault people don't use their fucking eyes
G.B. Blackrock
And it didn't help, did it?
orangeitis
Hence why I posted pictures.
Optimus1138
Of course, and that's part of why I want him to be an all-in-one figure without an inner robot too. I'm just saying if they're going to make the cab Deluxe sized it'd mess up the scale so badly that they shouldn't be bothering to make the figure in the first place. Unless it's a Huffer/Pipes sort of situation where the Deluxe Optimus can pull the trailer but he's smaller than the actual cab (which would be roughly the size of Siege/ER Optimus's truck modes.

I would be much more comfortable if the original request for a non-SG Slicer (for which people naturally assumed G1) instead referred to "WotC Slicer."
As far as (I'm assuming, yes) the vast majority of Transformers fans are concerned, non-SG Slicer is essentially the same deco as was used on SG Slicer. If you want the WotC colors, that's cool, but trying to refer to that as "non-SG Slicer" without further explanation is just inviting confusion.
BBJazz
True, but people were saying the same thing about people's wish lists that actually were based on these listings.
butz
I wasn't saying this with any sort of surprise that it's happening, but refuting his argument that people were only want-listing things from the known listings.
Nightstrike
Welcome to TFW2005. It's what we do.
butz
People were starting to list random things that they wanted which were totally outside of the store listings for actual upcoming product.
