This a new black redeco of the Masterpiece MP-53 Skids mold with a new head, inspired by the Diaclone black Honda City Turbo mold (which later became G1 Skids) which is also known as Burn Out in later modern renditions. We have clear shots at the packaging, extra parts, robot and alt mode. In a nice detail, she comes with G1 and G2 insignia stickers for you to choose which to apply.
Dia Burnout was released as a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive in Japan, but you can still find pre-orders via our sponsors links below:

I would love it if they did the last one! I don’t hold out much hope as we STILL don’t have Deepcover, so I bought the X-Transbots version. I hoped by buying that, it would create a curse that would make TT announce theirs, but it didn’t work
Tazman66gt
of they do let's hope they make it a Decepticon. not every car needs to be an Autobot.
The Crazy Collector
Still holding out hope that we get the final repaint! Com'on TT, you know you wanna!!

TTM is doing a warehouse find sale with this guy and the Legacy version. Metal Hawk, Skyquake, and Magnificus too.

Honestly, going back and watching, Skids had a few more appearances as ppl initially thought. I didn't realize that in some cases I mistook him for Smokescreen.
He blends well with the toon G1 MP, especially if the collector keeps the realistic "grills" on characters like Inferno/ Grapple and Trailbreaker.

Just opened up Burnout as my first MP in a while (Skids, Crosscut, and Reboost tempted me since I do prefer the older less-cartoon Masterpiece style, but it wasn't until the fembot version of the mold released that I really had to give in lol), and I do like the idea of the little hologram figure, but it really bugs me that it's a smaller scale than Burnout herself. Does anyone know if anybody's made a basically enlarged version that's in scale, whether as an actually sold piece or even just a print you can buy on Shapeways or something? Or failing that, does anyone know any similarly or more articulated figures somewhere kinda near the ~1/29 scale of Burnout's vehicle mode?
EDIT: ok, after actually transforming Burnout herself, I am enjoying her, but less than I thought I would mainly due to a couple quibbles (front and back halves of lower legs don't seem to lock together, hips don't seem to want to lock in fully deployed outward position, and the biggest one, hips don't seem to rotate backward at all).

OK, I really am done now with the MP-53 repaints!

I had a blast reviewing this figure. Fingers crossed for a toy accurate deco, but if we never get one, this fills the gap very nicely.

Finally I have someone that fits Frenzy's interrogation chair:

(But seriously, that little thing is the most fiddly/fragile thing ever. One glance at it and both arms drop off.)

Like Tazman said, It's an XTransbots Ono, a limited run in red.
Here's a quick shot of them with XTransbot's Crosscut. I don't have the Skids version in particular, but this would get the size across. I know a lot of people were not super happy with XTB's cartoon Skids face, so that might be a downer, but the mouthplate face (like here on Crosscut) or the toy-style face (on the various Diaclone redecos) is a really nice facesculpt.

I don't want to derail a MP thread with 3P, but for my own 2 cents, I like the two molds about equally. Definitely pros and cons to both, but personally I think it levels out. I only have this Crosscut because it was pretty cheap long before an official one was announced. If both had been announced at the same time, it would have been a much more difficult choice. But in the end, I'm happy to have both as I like experiencing two molds, and I don't personally need my City fleet to be identical.

X-transbots, it was a limited release and they do have their own Skids. everything of mine is packed away otherwise I would send a pic of Skids and Hoist.
SHIELD Agent 47
Silly question: which company is that unlicensed Lift-Ticket from, and do they have their own Skids mold for height comparison?

I feel like Blue Trailbreaker is pretty likely. Hasbro did the deco recently over the yellow version, so I wouldn't be shocked if blue is their preference. I also feel like when the make a Hoist, it'll be an even heavier amount of new parts than the Inferno-Grapple situation (or even a whole new mold), so there's some incentive to get some more uses out of the base Trailbreaker mold. Unless they announce a toy colors/head TB, I feel like Blue is probably the next use of the mold. Red Skids might be too similar to Reboot, but Japan does freaking love the Honda City, so I could actually see it happening, but probably a toy-Skids first.
Black Ironhide and Deep Cover are not made yet as a personal attack on me, sorry.

God, I hope so….

Will we get a blue Trailbreaker to go with our Delta Magnus crew? Red Skids? Black Ironhide? Deep Cover?

My Diaburnout arrived yesterday – the toy accurate face really completes the look and I'd love this head on a toy accurate deco – the lighter blue and toon head just don't suit it, but I picked it up to support one of my favourite childhood figures.
XTB's version remains on the MP shelf while Takara's effort just sits around the house, appropriately not fitting in with much. Diaburnout will keep him company.

Got mine the other day and she's fantastic. The black paint is slick and doesn't seem to be an utter nightmare for fingerprints so far. I'm debating on which emblem I might use but honestly the black paint is nice enough to just leave off an emblem. The yellow/orange/red trim details really pop and make me think that a toy-deco/remold Trailbreaker will be amazing. Having ALL the weapons is really nice and allows you to mix it up a bit to make her distinctive from her mold-mates. The new head is really well done and gives me hope that we might get a good toy-Skids. Sure, we don't get toy decos of everyone (Sunstreaker being a really notable one), but I think Japan loves the City enough to do another run. The love for the car seems high enough that I wouldn't even be shocked if they did Red Skids (not Reboost).
