2005 Boards member Rookbartley is reporting that US retailers have put up pegs for the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts mainline toys.
The pegs were spotted at Meijer in Fort Wayne, Indiana and denote prices for the following toys:
- Power Step – $10.99
- Spark Racers – $8.99
- Power Battlers – $6.99
- Power Alliance – $15.99
These should be part of the gimmick toys that were revealed some days ago. It is likely that toys will be hitting retail very soon.

My local Meijer hasn't stocked Transformers since Kingdom. For almost two years, there was one Wingfinger hanging on a peg, it finally disappeared a month ago, and a SS Soundwave, Sludge and Coronation Starscream, all in beat-up boxes. I don't know if they ever put out tags for Legacy, they certainly never stocked the figures. Last week I saw the new SS Deluxe wave and thought I was in the wrong store.

I just found Studio Series AirRazor and SS 100 Bumblebee at Walmart, in Queensbury, NY

Leaders usually lag. Especially Studio now that stores have Sludge and Fallen taking up space.

I meant lines on store shelves, in the toy aisle. Reaction stuff is in target's little "collector area" (often blocked by carts of product waiting to be placed on shelves) and things like selects are online only.

I’ve decided to do my transformers budget list of toy lines to get: Legacy, Studio Series, only mainline deluxes and voyagers of ROTB, maybe the Earthspark deluxes. Not interested in the reactivate stuff.

I think they could come out soon, just anytime soon just usually these figures come out a little before their estimates release date.
But you could be right yeah. They definitely will come out around the games release for sure.

I’m not so sure on that. Those are likely going to be held till the game’s release date gets announced at the earliest. To the best of my knowledge there’s been no confirmed release date for the game, so we might not get them this year if a delay occurs.

I was surprised by that too. And the figures look like fun fidget toys. This line might just lure me in.

I mean, theres more lines than that at the momment tho, specially since Hasbro and Takara merged the brand. besides those 5 we have Authentics, Generations Selects, Collaborative, R.E.D, Vintage(G1&BW), Masterpiece, MPG, Ultimates, ReAction, Classic Heroes Team, Retro G1, Buzzworthy Bumblebee and Beast Wars Again. pretty certain im missing some línes, and some of them are only on shelves on certain countries but theres a lot, 18 toylines in total, and im sure it was even crazier when japan had their own exclusives

Prices aren't terrible. Huh. *nods in approval*

I got a feeling even sooner than October.
Peaceful Soldier
And in October, reactivate as well

Lines fighting for shelf space:
Legacy
Studio Series
Earthspark
Rotb
4 lines, and shelf space dedicated to TF as a whole has been shrinking…
Oh, almost forgot that Walmart and Target both have their own line of exclusives, so make that 5 lines fighting for shelf presence
TF Hot Rod
Scourge will be out before June.
Peaceful Soldier
The rest of the wave was also slated for June as well as the legacy stuff which has all arrived…
all are dead
Huh, I saw these tags about a month ago and didnt know it was news. Oh well. Should be nice to actually SEE transformers on meijer shelves as theyve been BARREN recently.
T-Hybrid
Because he's due in June. The movie line is slated for April.
Different DPCIs. It's more likely Legacy stuff is trickling in and will ride the Spring reset along with this.
GoldDeadEnd
I've been wondering if anticipating the ROTB has led Target to not bother stocking Legacy.
TF Hot Rod
I’m not at all, the only one doing it is Meijers.
bradforj
Agreed. My son and I have been collecting a lot of Legacy stuff. We have zero interest in any ROTB figures. I wonder if Hasbro has considered some collectors dislike the movie aesthetic and will be on the sidelines for awhile?
