Third party Mechanical Shell Studio have updated their Weibo account with the first images of the gray prototype of their new MSS-01 Sirius The Solo Wing (Armada Starscream).
This is a completely new cartoon-accurate Armada Starscream mold. It comes with his Minicon partner (apparently non-transformable), 3 pairs of interchangeable hands, and his wing can transform into his sword as seen in the cartoon. The images show a wide range of poseability and look like a promising project. We still have no concrete information about scale, but the images show this mold holding the Legacy Armada Starscream Star Saber and Generations Thrilling 30 Starscream swords that may give us an idea about the size.
Stay tuned with this space for more updates. Now, click on the bar to see the mirrored images and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

Yeah, it really stuns me that MakeToys, Iron Factory and New Age have all just left that money on the table.

I'm honestly shocked it's never been homaged. The original mp3 is my favorite incarnation of that mold, even after the design was re done to put the fins on the legs. Those colors are just cool.

The world needs more 3P Starscreams in Kawamori's deco for MP03. <3

Looks cool. At least he's shorter than the deluxe after all. But going by the can, he's as tall or even taller than MS v1 Optimus Prime. I just don't do legends+ so this is still a no for me.

Fantastic Surprise to end my day! Already preordered on ShowZ! Hope we can get the rest of the cast! As a legends collector and a UT fan, I couldn't possibly get better news!
Cheebs
I already did it in both Starscream and Thundercracker colors, so I'm not sure what you're asking…
While I had the Photoshop file open I messed around a bit more and came up with this random color scheme. I think these colors somehow strangely work on this mold.

Wait can you do the regular colors as well
Cheebs
I found the pictures at a much better resolution if anybody wants a cleaner look.

Why is his nosecone looks like that? Is he just too happy to see someone?
TheGrimReaper
So it looks like he's around 12 cm tall, judging from that Pic. An average soda can is around 12.2 cm. I'm good with that size and really hope this guy ends up being a good release. I also really hope this company will keep the train rolling with more characters from Armada
pantomime
Probably for this scene, inbefore we get a starsaber and a swap out chest for the repaint.

Eh they tried, and you could just not use the joint if you don't like how it looks.
Cheebs
That seems like an awful sacrifice to make to the front of the robot for specialty articulation!

Clearance to use the ab crunch

What on earth is with the rude little curl forward of the jet nose? It's killing me!

I prefer a MP scale but since I have a space issue right now, glad to see this Starscream is smaller.
Can’t wait to see how he looks with my Classics collection.

To be honest, it won't display well with anything but if it's priced right and looks good I'll probably get it anyway. Armada Starscream is a great design and it'll still make a good desk toy.
I've currently three billys full of MPs
Just looking at them makes me smile, but I do handle most of them fairly regularly- less so now since work takes up a lot of my time. But I'm still very happy to have them- and to be almost done with what I want! It's made picking up mainline stuff funny cos they all feel so small lol
Like I said above, will probably still get this as an odd piece, just a bit sad it likely won't replace the Legacy version in the display. Unless they do a whole line in this scale, in which case goodbye official versions
