Third party Mechanical Shell Studio have updated their Weibo account with the first images of the gray prototype of their new MSS-01 Sirius The Solo Wing (Armada Starscream).
This is a completely new cartoon-accurate Armada Starscream mold. It comes with his Minicon partner (apparently non-transformable), 3 pairs of interchangeable hands, and his wing can transform into his sword as seen in the cartoon. The images show a wide range of poseability and look like a promising project. We still have no concrete information about scale, but the images show this mold holding the Legacy Armada Starscream Star Saber and Generations Thrilling 30 Starscream swords that may give us an idea about the size.

Legends, yep. Here he is with examples from Lucky Cat, Rising Force Toys, DX9-mini, and Iron Factory.

Just for clarification, this guy is legends size, right? Does he scale with IF legends sizing or more like NewAge’s?
NEOLAB
Beautiful! Is this an upgrade kit by GoBetter?

The photo of Ramjet/Skywarp blasting their deployed null ray cannons is not among the photos TFW has posted.
NEOLAB
I am confused. I mean, I am looking right at it. Is it that specific photo, or the reveal we are talking about?

Didnt realize this till last night, but the original figure looks nice with the Green Roller from Modfan, as the orange (instead of red) looks similar. Anyways, they are both now on my MS shelf.
Hoping for a full painted version toon style eventually.

Goddess even with FT Magnus coming I think these two figures might be the ones I’m looking forward to the most.
Granted I prefer Warp to Jet, but even still Jet is basically the Angel to Warp’s devil so he will look great, not to mention Starscream; It was this version of the character and the way he bonded and died with Alexis that made into a Screamer fan.
So excited.

Not as of right now, at least…

NEOLAB
I am pretty sure it was in those slides? I skipped the panels, so I didn’t see it at the show.
GrimLocke
Ah, then I forgot about it, & so it seemed new when I saw it wasn't in the TFW post covering the 3PP slides.
Robogeek28
See this Hasbro?
This is how Skywarp and Ramjet need to be remolded from your Armada Starscream.
NEOLAB
It was shown at the TFCON reveals. I bet it is Skywarp first, but I’m anxiously awaiting Ramjet.
GrimLocke
Somehow this pic of MSS Ramjet didn't make it into the 3PP, but it is up on their Weibo, now~

Interesting! That would explain a lot, good on him for just doing what he likes.
Is it the same designer for the 'mainline' and the Samurai subline, though – a lot of the IS figures (the 'full Samurai' ones) feel very different?
Phase Sixer
Maybe. Or maybe the samurai thing is a passion project and assuming every designer is driven by the market is an error in this case. From what I’ve read the IF designer was already rich before he started IF and IF was always just a passion project for him, which is one of the reasons the prices stay low.

Definitely in for Starscream Super Mode – I'd probably also buy American fan-fic characters like Skywarp and Ramjet too…
If the market was that lucrative Iron Factory wouldn't have abandoned it.
Sounds good to me – Legends-scale Sky Garry, Dai Atlas, et cetera…
