I guess it doesn’t matter considering I don’t like non-transforming TF figures anyway, but why does MDLX Sideswipe’s chest look somewhat like a mid-80s Chevrolet?
Curium
Flatten the tip of the swords and they could also double as a homage to his G1 piledrivers.
TF Hot Rod
Yeah something not 1:1 of course and yeah that would be tight.

The movie swords would be a cool addition but I wouldn’t want them to be an exact 1:1 recreation of the ones in the movie. I would want them to be stylized in this same manner and just recognizable enough so that fans can understand where they come from.
Something like this
TF Hot Rod
I wonder if they will give him his movie swords? Would be a nice little addition.
Avoided this line so far but get tempted more and more. If they do Grimlock oh no I’m in trouble.
Megatron118
I was originally excited for MDLX Starscream, but not so much now. He just looks weird, the face sculpt really throws it off. Same with how high the null rays are on the arms
sideswipe29
I’m so excited for MDLX Sideswipe. A highly poseable action figure that is uniquely stylized for a beloved character? Sign me up!
Judgement prime
What do you think the new fallens alt mode will be?

Dunno about BBTS, sorry, I'm in the UK so have never used them.
Blackarachnia1996
Not sure. Maybe they just don’t have the listings ready yet? And doesn’t BBTS usually sell IF as well?
Also, any word on Tiger-Rex selling out at the show or not?
Hobart Paving
Show Z doesn't have them up, so my guess is no – they have pretty much everything else announced. Primal and Cheetor are the last two numbers announced, so maybe they're just assumed to be too far out/ most likely to slip?
Blackarachnia1996
Primarily the Samurai Cheetor and Optimus Primal
Hobart Paving
Which ones do you mean? The mainline Primal Prime, Iron Samurai Optimus Primal, and Iron Samurai Cheetor? Or are you talking about the Iron Romance Workshop Rampage and Depth Charge?
I know that Show Z has the two Iron Romance Workshop figures and Primal Prime available to pre-order.

My take on it is that 3P Generations could only end op this way because it never did much that appealed to me. I think I might have two figures in that range (City Commander and Sonicron) and the less said about them the better. I wasn't invested in IDW and the hyper stylization designs were a real turnoff. What I wish we could've seen was like how e-Hobby did those retroactive G1 figures except with new molds. They could've come up with, for example, a handful of new cars or something that would've blended into the Autobot ranks. But, no, it was all duplicate characters, weird alien crap, or both. I'm dreading 2025+ in both MP and legends because I can see them doing something similar. They'll have done the established G1 characters, so they'll think the only way forward is A) other generations or B) weirdly stylized do-overs instead of expanding their existing collection.

Are the three Beast Wars Iron Factory figures up for pre-order anywhere, or the Tiger-Rex exclusive?
WheeljackDude
MDLX Sideswipe, huh?
They might be repainting into Tigertrack and Deep Cover, and retooling into Red Alert and Clampdown…

Complex toys don't appeal to everyone. It's not necessarily a positive trait.
Which is why the person you replied to didn't think they were worth it compared to mainline stuff.
