And to keep the flow of news of the recently revealed Studio Series Gamer Edition toys, it’s turn of the SS GE-03 Voyager Optimus Prime figure.
Following Sam Smith posts about SS GE-01 Deluxe Bumblebee and SS GE-02 Barricade toys, now it’s turn of Hasbro designer Evan Brooks to tell us some interesting details about this new rendition of Optimus Prime from the popular War For Cybertron video game, via his Instagram account. This new Voyager mold was designed using the video game CAD model to get the right Optimus’ proportions, and they also took attention to the 2 ways the big battle axe is seen in the game and that can be recreated with the toy. To top it all, the guns included with the figures on this collection got 5 mm ports for you to combine them as you wish.
Read on for the full Evan’s comments and in-hand images of this new mold, including a comparison shot next to the original Generations Deluxe War For Cybertron Optimus Prime toy. You can then sound off on the 2005 Boards and don’t forget to look for your pre-order via our sponsors links below:

I hope you all are excited as we expand our SS line into a series of games that are near and dear to my heart. The original “War for Cybertron” has entered the fray.
We have plenty of characters that never got figures back in 2010 so please look forward to them as we continue this line!
Shout out to our engineer (not sure if they want their name known so holding it back for now.) who proposed we do this back in 2019 as we started to introduce the 86 line into SS. Certainly could never have done this without them.
This figure is brought to you by myself and the absolutely amazing Koki san over at TT.
We were able to rip the CAD from the original game to make sure we got Optimus’s very tanky proportions correct.
One of things I thought was important was to make sure he came with his iconic melee axe that he used in the game. What I found interesting is that the Axe was different depending on if it was a cutscene or if he used it in game. Because of this, we made it so the Axe itself can convert to its Halberd style or the Butterfly style by simply folding the blades.
For the weapons in game, every cybertronian’s arms would just convert to the weapon they picked up. All the right arms of the WFC SS figures can be removed to reveal a 5mm port at the elbow. (The removed arm can be stored on the back of the figure.) Our goal is to make it so (as we continue forward with these characters) you’ll amass all the different blasters from the game. Then these can of course be swapped onto any of the WFC SS figures.
Optimus also comes with the Matrix of Leadership that received in the game when becoming a Prime. I’ve included a photo of the back of the figure because I have a feeling folks are probably curious if he has the giant Autobot emblem engraved on his back. I’m sorry to say that he doesn’t…This is because of how the vehicle mode parts are stored and they didn’t leave much room for that detail, I’m sorry to say.
With all that out of the way, I hope you all are excited as we dive deeper into this beloved game series.

To be honest, I didn't even know there was a thread for Toyhax
Purple Heart
You dont have to apply every one. Also, this should be posted in the dedicated Toyhax thread.

Well f**k, just had to order another set because one of the tiny stickers slipped out of my hands as I was about to apply it to the figure

I don't have this kit, but quite early on before this was available I 3D printed my own equivalent and spent a number of iterations to get as much friction-fit as I could do that I didn't need to use glue and could completely revert.
I'm pleased with how snug mine is, but if it's not so good with the kit, I could well understand why one would want to glue it in place.
As best I can tell, it doesn't affect anything aesthetically nor the transformation, so if it's a tidy bond, I personally believe it shouldn't have any negative effects.

I actually highly recommend it if you don’t plan on disassembling your figure. It holds the mushroom peg for the backpack on if you glue it in.
New display case opened up some shelving and allowed for the separation of bots and cons:

Why not, it doesn’t seem like it would hurt anything if it is glued on.

Just been pondering if this is really worth super glueing this little back piece onto my GE Prime. Any thoughts?

I love Gamer Prime so much, I wish Megatron was on-par with him. I'm glad he's been repacked and is getting a third release too. This is my Prime after most of my custom work with gundam markers, with some photoshopping done. I need to take some new pictures now that he has his DNA kit and other custom touchups.

Those Autobot logos on the shoulders look different. Do they come with the sticker set?
