Via YU’S HOBBY LAND Facebook we have images of the first renders of a new Y-C001 Legends Scale Metroplex.
According to the information shared, this is a new G1 Metroplex figure which is planned to be in scale with Legends scale figures made by companies like Newage or Magic Square. It will stand about 45 cm tall in robot mode with 20 articulation points. Keep in mind that these are early renders and we are yet to see a physical prototype.
See the render images after the jump and then sound off on the 2005 Boards!

What about Marvel Comic scaling
Let's see how big toyworld's Fort Max is next to randomcompanyname's Metroplex
Slimaximus
I mean if it really is less than $200 from China retailers, I may just get this. Unless early reviews are bad
Hobart Paving
Someone should make a Legends-sized Metroplex, so you can pair it with FansToys Fortress Maximus for Headmasters scaling…

If it's shit, you can always take him apart and do Murderplex Jr.

no it is definitely possible the margins on 3p bots are stupid crazy. so they could definitely pass that on to us if they wanted to. i am just surprised is all.

I saw some cell shaded pics – will this thing be cell shaded?

Doesn't seem unreasonable if it's in the pangu/mft bracket.

I forget where I saw it (perhaps I never did and it's a mandela effect, because I can't find it on the last two pages where alt-mode is shown) but I love the look of having the chest ramp going straight onto the right leg in city mode, rather than going to ground level. For some reason, it makes it more interesting. Nice to be able to have the option, anyway.
lilcarus
that's definitely an ambitious price this new company has set. 10 times larger than a legends fig and less than most top tier legend leaders. you can color me sceptical to say the least.

OMP! has this listed for SG$184 plus shipping with a Q2 '23 release estimate. Puts it at about the same final cost, at least in Australia, as Generations was back when it was launched.
Honesty
Which is itself, already a legends scaled Meteoplex lol. Generations Metroplex is my Legends scaled version.

this looks amazing, but def feel it needs to be bigger. id be happy if it was at least maketoys utopia height tbh. the problem with making a legends scale titan, is that the titans were already legends scale.
marvel b
ANKLE TILT!!! woo!
Tanafor
I wouldn't agree with that. Generations Metroplex is a good robot and a good city. Cybertron Metroplex, as always, has a really good robot and a really bad vehicle mode. The play factor is superior in Generations Metroplex for me, so a better toy in the end.
Hineni
I actually really like this scale. I like Trypticon and Metroplex to be a bit smaller than Fortress and Scorponok, but I'll wait until I see an actual review.
VelsR
Well in any case this would put Trypticon in better scale, I guess.
Hunter11937
Thanks. $137 US or so is much more reasonable.
