Third party company Cang Toys have revealed, via their Weibo account, images of a new test shot of their new CY-Mini-05 Thorilla.
While Cang Toys already finished their own Masterpiece scaled Predacons, they were also working on another Predacon team for the Legends scale. Cang Toys Predacons bring us a very stylized design, plus some original Predacons. Thormini is a completely new character who transforms into a gorilla and he’s supposed to form the crotch of Mini Thunderking/Predaking. We have images in both modes and comparison shots next to the previously revealed CY-Mini-01 Firmamentmini, CY-Mini-02 Landmini and Cy-Mini-06 Rhimini.

Is there a good guide for turning Thormini into crotch-butt mode? The instructions are not very helpful in that regard and videos only seem to show robot and ape modes.

See? Megatron always told Shockwave that he'd end up working at a drive thru.

Some of you may recognize this event. I'll post the rest later.

The magnetic rubber pad idea didn't work. The material is too hard so it won't "stick" well on non porous surfaces and the magnetic force has weakened significantly after cutting (no surprise there) so it's also useless on steel surfaces. So I bought this 0.5 mm rubber strip with adhesive, made small round pads through a leather puncher and it works beautifully. No more Predaslips for me.

Does anyone in the UK need a single replacement cannon mount for Minilion? ShowZ sent me one, but since I managed to break both cannons there's not much point in replacing just one of them, and I'd already bought a replacement for the broken figure anyway.
ProfessorNuub
Oh yeah, ShowZ will never make you pay for a replacement part even if it's entirely your (read: my) fault lol. I assume the minor charge is worth far less than potentially losing a future customer over bad service for them. One time I accidentally snapped of NA Frenzy's leg (and to be fair it is REALLY easy to break) and they just send me enough points to buy another Soundwave and then some. Made me a customer for life.

Show.Z is sending out a replacement part for my broken figure. Didn't even say anything about needing to pay. I figured since I broke it and since I tried gluing it, that I'd have to actually pay for a replacement but seems their still getting it to me without a charge! Super awesome of them. Just frustrated that the part is surrounded in pins and I'm going to have to figure out how to go about it as I don't have pin tools. lol. Guess I'll deal with that once the part arrives. Still super stoked that their helping me out! Awesome customer service!!

Thanks, I figured out what I was doing wrong. I had the back section of the tail folded in all the way instead of having it hang down inside the arm.
EissenWolf
This same thing gave me some trouble when I first transformed it. What you have to do first is angle the back flap on its hinge to go as far up the back as it can go. Then you fold the grey section of the tail under the orange section and this grey section will be tabbed into the legs on both sides. The last tail section will be positioned 90 degrees perpendicular to the other tail sections and sit right between the legs when in position. I would love to post some pics but I'm out right now and don't have the figures on hand. Hope this helps!

If you have a look on page 123 of this thread, about half way down there's a video been posted showing his transformation. It's really good so thank you, to the person that shared that

Got my last two in today and combined the whole set. Loving it, but for the life of me I cannot get Fero-Mini's tail to securely peg into place for arm mode. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?
Marty7
Yeh thats what I was most worried out. Its alot of pressure and weight to place on the connection point. I've managed to get it connected though. I used a small file to file the grooves a little on thor mini, then used some silicone oil. When pushing razor claw over the post/pin I pressed a blunt screwdriver on the back of the post/peg of thor mini and with a bit of a firm press, it went together. Just have to be careful when I come to separate them again.
I hope you get sorted okay with yours though. I wouldn't know where to start with pushing the steel pins out either
TFC201482
Yeah, be careful and don't break it like I did. Don't apply too much pressure trying to connect them. I broke the peg right off, UGH! I'm waiting for showz to see if I can get replacement parts, but it's all friggin pins… no screws.. so even if I do, I'm not sure how I'm fixing it yet as I don't have any tools for removing pins. Haha. Again, don't apply too much pressure trying to connect them.

I'm trying to get mine into thunderking mode. I've only got rampage and dive bomb to do but having trouble fixing razorclaw onto the gorilla. Any tips?

Could someone point me to where I can find Cang pics of mini and MP sized Thunderking bots please? There was some official pics by Cang of the big figures side-by-side with their mini counterparts that look amazing. Thanks in advance.

Got the monke. Gotta say they did slaughter my wallet hard by making the legend scale has quite major differences. I dig the head sculpt and the gun very much, the gun feels very much like it's integrated into his hand rather than holding it, cannot say the same to the sword, it looks like a cactus, but in red.
It's a bit challenging to take pictures. He has huge chest, which frequently block the heads from some common angles I usually take pictures from, but man, when getting the right angles, those light piping surely did the job well.

I currently have all of them minus the bull, since I have no intention to build Predaking, I just have interest in individual bots.
It's very hard to say which one I like most, since they all very amazing in their own ways. The lion has the most prominent presence in display, despite the bulky nature, still very poseable. The Gorilla with the alt headsculpt is pretty badass. Divebomb has a glorious and decent articulated wingspan, while not having the bird hat, which is the reason why I prefer legend Divebomb over the MP one. Rampage is pretty much a 1:1 with the MP with recycled weapons from other members.
If I were to recommend, I would tell anyone to get them all. Very fun to pose, and eye pleasing to look at.
Magna Jet Convoy
To be honest, I haven't messed around with the minis all that much. Mostly just Dive-bomb and that was because he was first release and on his lonesome for a long time. But all 6 look amazing, not that I have any other Legends scale figures to compare them with.
Mechman42
Rampage. He’s the easiest to transform and doesn’t get in his own way like some of the others. Don’t have the MP tho.
Magna Jet Convoy
Just putting a question out there because: so what's everyone's favourite mini and why? If you have the larger MP version, is this also your favourite of that size range too?
