Transformers: Reactivate (Shine/Rise) Voyager Optimus Prime & Deluxe Soundwave Product Descriptions

TFW’s Jtprime17 has come to us today with an interesting discovery: What appears to be product descriptions for Transformers: Shine Optimus Prime and Soundwave figures. These were going to be toys for the Transformers: Rise video game – which has since been renamed Transformers: Reactivate. It’s unknown when or if these will ever release, but you can check it out below!

“If you guys remember there was 2 listings for Tra Shine packs. Well those were originally going to be transformers rise (now reactivate) figures.

Here’s the official product description for one of the packs. I’m not sure when it will or ever see release.

I've always loved the idea of a transformers shooting game. It's just amazing that you can play normally and then turn into a vehicle to zoom around the map.

Whatever they do, I hope Grimlock is in the game and he's a T. rex.

They are 'transformers', it's not only going to be one mode my friend. Grimlock in the game will most likely have the largest hitbox in alt mode (t-rex) but you will only be able to play with no limitations in robot mode.

Bumblebee looks so damn awful in this game. Skinny legs fat feet skinny arms fat forarms and hands. Prime doesn't even look like he Transformers into the truck they showed. I can't see the toys being too great.

Just so everyone knows it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the reactivate stuff, so a lot could have changed. Starscream didn’t look 100% like a F-22 but had some inspiration from it. Just don’t want anyone to get disappointed.

As for Megatron, I have no clue if the toy ever got past the concept stage.

So what's megatron’s concept looks like？ A evergreen style design？

I wouldn't worry, what would Hasbro do without a Megatron? Besides, we got prime in wave 1 and we need Megatron to match up with him. If not in wave one, then Megatron will surely be in wave 2.

Yeah I doubt they won't do him and if not I'm getting Prime and Starscream so I'll live.

These figures should be some of the best stuff we've seen in years. At least, that's how high my hopes are right now.

For the record, the cutscenes are dated to late 2019, probably 2020 (We know who wrote them, he joined Certain Affinity near the end of 2019). So we know that the Soundwave design for the toy is probably gonna be the one in the cutscene not the one in the gallery image.

That Soundwave looks similar but with lesser greeble and he doesn't have the WFC/FOC thing on his chest.

The Starscream in the first pic kind of reminiscent of Legacy Armada Starscream when you look at the backpack but that's all the "similarities" there is.

Did it look closer to an F-22 than Energon deluxe F-22? I hated how small and close together the vertical stabilizers were on the Energon Starscream toy. I think I’d be happy if it looked closer to Studio Series voyager movie Starscream’s F-22 mode than deluxe Energon Starscream’s jet mode.

Also, did it look “close enough” to be a modern or futuristic version of G1 Starscream, especially in robot mode?

We have absolutely no clue about the scaling of the characters in-game aside from the trailer. Any cutscenes shown should provide a decent idea of the scaling. I think Soundwave will be a large deluxe based on that leaked cutscene

They’re standing farther way and size can change but here’s how it was in the cutscene.

We have absolutely no clue about the scaling of the characters in-game aside from the trailer. Any cutscenes shown should provide a decent idea of the scaling. I think Soundwave will be a large deluxe based on that leaked cutscene

It's Soundwave, so maybe they're borrowing a page from the High Moon WfC/FoC playbook: first they release deluxe van/truck/suv Soundwave (which will sell because Soundwave), then a year+ later we get a voyager van/truck/suv Soundwave in the non-Reactivate mainline with upscaled shared-engineering and maybe mini-cassette/deployer capability?

Maybe but still don’t think that would 100% work. Either way idc as much since all I want from that set is Starscream.

The difference between the models and the toys is they will have to physically transform. So I guarantee you the toy will not be the exact same as the model.
