After several days with him, I love him. Such an easy and smooth transformation and he looks good.
I am intensely jealous of anyone who managed to get one (on the day by the time I managed to get online they had already sold out)
Hoping beyond hope that I might get lucky finding one at TFNation tomorrow or mor elikely August but pretty sure I'm dreaming
FansHobby posted mine. Keen to get it.
Bro, hard same. As soon as I brought this home, my two year-old was like "BLUE CAR!!" and wouldn't put it down. I finally got a chance to tidy it up, pull some crud off the wheels, and scurry off to hide it in the office. But yes, in general, I just accept that anything within his reach is just gonna have to be fair game… particularly the blue ones.

As for Bossman, I really just grabbed it because I was at TFcon and thought "why not?" I really figured those online listings wouldn't sell out so soon, and I didn't expect much of the figure. Well, today was my first time transforming it, and I'm pretty impressed. Really good articulation for its size and nice paint work. Plus, I'm just a sucker for putting those Headmasters to work:

Also, I'm #159. Nothing exciting.

I honestly like this way more than I thought I would. I've owned and sold other versions of this mold but this one I'm keeping.
His current favorite is to have me pull MP Delta Magnus, and a handful of my diaclone-repainted MP cars off the shelf (I keep them in alt mode), then I supervise while he loads Delta up and drives him around the living room. I periodically get to point out to my wife that he's handling somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 in toys, and watch her reaction.

I had a similar experience with my 2 daughters when they were 2 & 4 y/old. It was the year 2000 and I was snapping up everything Takara were putting out in the Car Robots line (yes Takara versions) not US RID versions.
They absolutely LOVED playing with the 6 Spychanger cars on Brave Maximus in City mode. That was/still is a great playset to mess around with with smaller cars like the Spychangers. You had 3 launch ramps, the working elevator and the jail cell. Fun times!
Same guys, I'm willing to pay the late tax. PM me
That is absolutely adorable. Cherish this time.
He finally has arrived. I did paint the robot eyes a slightly brighter pink to make them stand out a little more… number 313! Thanks again @Chosen Prime !!!

My son (who is two) is absolutely fascinated with Bossman for whatever reason. He keeps asking me where "blue car" went (it's on my display shelf). When I unboxed it he very vocally told me that we should spend time playing with it ("no on shelf!"). I'm considering picking up the FH nightbeat as a decoy blue car.

got mine in! #264! ngl, this might've convinced me to just buy the other headmasters already.
Random question: Anyone able to digibash this into the Batmobile???
received mine super fast. 079/600
Mine arrived as well.
Got mine today. 220/600
If the nose piece is touching the ground when attached then you don't have it on all the way. I had the same issue until i played around with it and got it on properly.
I love this figure. It was a good deal for $80. Lots of accessories and a great appearance. This thing came out so late in G1 that I was no longer into Transformers as a kid (more like teen) when it did. Same for Double Dealer. Getting into characters that are new for me has been one of the best parts of collecting Transformers later in life. I only bought this because it was an exclusive, maybe to sell it later for profit when it goes up in value but that plan is no longer in existence. I am keeping it and maybe getting more late G1 masterpiece scale figures. This is a great keepsake from a great convention.
For the 3 weeks after TFCon you might be thinking of the preorders for FT Cliffjumper, Blaster and Powerglide. Those took an unusually long time to go up after TFCon last October, and so far looks like Gears, Swerve and Scourge might do the same (or they could be up tomorrow).
I'll take a quick look – Looks like I bought Delta Baser off of the website on Tuesday October 25, and TFCon wrapped up on Sunday October 23.
