This new Walmart exclusive re-issue of the classic G1 Seeker mold features a new movie-accurate deco, comes packaged in a retro-style closed box, and includes a new G1 Megatron gun. This is the “Tra Gen Retro 4” from our previous listing batches.

Oh yeah I that I know although for years I did think it possible that they'd stick a black Megatron or Megaplex in just as an extra accessory if they felt like it and had already done Skywarp with one of those (kinda like how MP Roadrage comes with a Twincast and MP Loud Pedal came with the Microchange deco boombox). I should clarify though that I specifically meant the show accurate blue rather than the gun and fists inclusion (def made a blunder with my comment there.)

TakaraTomy would probably never release Thundercracker with a Megatron gun because he never used him in the show. You'll not the most recent Masterpiece Thundercracker didn't come with a Megatron gun like the other two Seekers. I am glad that he's getting the hands that can hold the gun.

I'm so glad they keep using the collection Megatron gun and fists. I've always been surprised that Takara never Thundercracker like this either. Either way really glad it's happening (still gotta pick up the previous two as well). I really hope this continues; I'm particularly hoping they do a show accurate Magnus since he's another one with a starkly different blue. If we're lucky maybe they'll do Optimus as well at some point with the axe piece and the Megatron holding fist.

I wonder if they'd go so far as to rerelease the Constructicons in cartoon accurate colors, kinda like the release they did in 2013 for the Encore line.
Still, very cool for those who missed out on previous versions of the mold & character. Or Thundercracker enthusiasts.

So pretty. Passing on the Takara MP 1.0 remains my biggest TF related regret. I occasionally check out prices and he still goes for crazy money…

Seeing this actually made be buy the movie Starscream, I don\'t really like the g1 Starscream toy but in the animated colors it actually makes me kinda like it, amazing what a new coat of paint can do for one\'s brain

Legends Class Starscream was released as part of Thrilling 30 along with tiny Waspinator.
This was followed by redecos as Acid Storm and Venin.
Thundercracker (minus Waspinator) was part of Combiner Wars Legends Class wave 1. Skywarp was wave 4.

You can also get the 3D printed missiles from Destron Designs if you want the original shorter missiles.
However, they won't match the shade of blue of this Thundercracker reissue…

Dangit. Might need to buy this. Love Thundercracker, and I love the G1 toy colors but it\'s the animation that clearly defined him to me as a more respectable and professional soldier than the other two. But I have tons of this mold lol. I gope some kids are getting these to see how far we\'ve come. Can we get Nacelle? Rodimus Prime in season 3 colors maybe with that deep maroon base color?
