By way of chefatron on Youtube, we now have our first look at the previously-reported Legacy RID Tow-Line!
Said to be a Buzzworthy exclusive, Tow-Line is a retool of Legacy Evolution Deluxe Scraphook with a new head and color scheme that is pretty close to the original toy/cartoon model albeit with some differences. He’s shown off here in his robot and vehicle modes along with some comparisons and poses.
Check out the gallery and let us know your first impressions in the discussion thread!

I tried that too, and didn't hold. A shame, too. It does look neat, at least.

Didn't work
Thundershot
Yeah, I was disappointed that mine wouldn’t go in there either…

I've tried the same thing with no success.
What I normally do now is put the exhausts on the top port on each shoulder.
I also use the exhausts on my Scraphook as wings on his back, so my configuration for him is already a little different.
Girl Pants
My TRU finally got the guy in and I have to say that I love the colors even more now that I've seen them in person.
I was playing around with mine to see how I can rearrange the parts to differentiate him from Scraphook and Axelgrease when I noticed on the official photos that they put the exhausts between the chest and arms (as a bit of a homage to where the roughly end up on the original toy). Only problem is… the pegs on the exhausts are too short to really get into those recessed sockets well and give enough friction to hold it all in. For what it's worth, it's too loose on Scraphook and Axelgrease to hold for anything more than a super-careful photo either.
Anyone else have any luck with this?

Sorry if this has been discussed to death already, I looked through the thread briefly but it's mostly Hoist digibashes lol
orangeitis
I bought three of this guy. He's on my Junkion shelf.

I stopped at Target and they had a whole peg full of Tow-Lines. He won't be tough to get.
JS_Prime
Yes and no. They sent an email on July 18 for the Walmart collector con stuff which had a note that more TF stuff would go up at 1pm ET, which turned out to be Tow-Line
JasonTFW
I'm just curious. Did they send out an email about him? I am a Premium member but don't recall ever seeing him in an email.
Firestorm
As far as I know, no he hasn't. I guess you just have to hope to find one at a physical store or get one off of eBay, since Pulse sold out before making him available for non-members.
JasonTFW
Did this guy ever go up for order on Target.com?
TF Hot Rod
I wouldn’t be suprised if he was.
Fridaytron
Fingers crossed he's part of Tuesdays stream. He's pretty high on my pickup list right now.
Vector Oracle
If you’re talking about experimenting with the Constructicons, I want a Devastator in Diaclone colors or the orange one from G2, since neither of those have gotten Generations toys before.
Robogeek28
Hopefully soon
Jalen Gatton07
Cool, hopefully they at least reveal him soon.
Boople Barp
Jt already said he made it to port, so probably soon.
Jalen Gatton07
When is he releasing?
VictoryBot93
I really like how he looks. Tow-Line absolutely deserves a modern toy & to come back wearing such a badass vehicle mode & still be obsessed with parking laws is my favorite story idea for him.
Bass X0
But then it wouldn’t be RiD’01 Tow-Line.
And don’t we have enough green and purple Constructicon homages around?
