It took some time, but we can report that the new Transformers Classic Heroes Team (Rescue Bots) Crocodile Megatron has been spotted at US retail.
This is our second Rescue Bots-style Megatron toy on this line, following drill-tank Megatron, now with his crocodile beast mode from the original Beast Wars toy line. It was found some days ago at Kroger stores by 2005 Boards members Daimao and Rookbartley.

wow, I had no idea there was a new crocodile megatron. that's a long callback! very neat.
not for me since it's basically chibi proportions, but if they made a more normal interpretation of croc megatron (like in Generations or something) I'd get it.

It definitely seems intentional with rhe bits of purple. I would not mind at all if HasTak leveraged Croc Megs as the BW equivalent of G1/G2 Megatron and let the T-Rex/Dragon rep the BW character.

Yeah but that was a much darker green, and with a green head. The silver head and bright neon green of this one remind me of G2 Megatron as well
